  1. I think that if the rain affects your riding then don't do it..........cos' safety is alway number 1. Nothing wrong with that.
  2. WOW....I've been looking on eBay and typed in "Yamaha R6" and there's this guys who's selling individual R6 parts which if you put all the parts together would make up the bike! It seems to me that that's some poor guys R6 which's has been nicked and stripped down to sell on eBay........it's pretty sus! :?

    Bike 1 - Car 0

I guess to be sensible.........I should really keep the car or at least have one between me and the Mrs. :?

Do you guys ride in the snow too? Cos' in the DSA book that I read it says that when it's snowing or pissing it down, you sould always ask yourself whether you really need to ride today!? :? I think my Mrs will probably kill me if I sold the car and bought a bike!! Might just sell the car to the Mrs and then get a bike.....that way I have the car and the bike! hehehe

    Bike 1 - Car 0

Hello, Does anyone have a bike but not a car? Can it be done? Do you think I can do with selling my car and get a bike? Do you guys still ride to work during winter when it's snowing or pissing it down hard? Also, how would I do my weekly food shopping with the Mrs on the bike? :? Is all this possible and wise? Or shall I just save up to get a bike and keep the car? I'm just weighing up my options for when I pass my DAS.

    Thieving B****rds

Sorry to hear about your mate's R6 being nicked!! Fookin' Bastards!! I know it sounds nasty but I hope these TWOCers really hurt themselves while riding other people's bikes!!! Just wondering if your mate locks his bike even though it's sitting in his garage? Cos' if I had a garage, I'd still be locking my bike to an anchor or something solid.

    I fell off tonight!

    Glad you're OK m8.
  8. At the end of the day......the Swiss ref just bottled it cos' it was the host nation!!! Fookin' Pussy!

  11. I would deffo. want them to build me something like an R5! 8)
  12. In our current flat, me and my Mrs have a Hamster.........you reckon' he'll scare the theives away!?!
  13. Hi guys, I'm bored shitless at work at the moment, just wondering what you guys do for a living. I'm a computer programmer in Manchester working for Sharp Electronics. Wish I was out on two wheels at the moment!

    Swap or not to swap

Sounds a bit dodgy mate! :?
  15. N1 Skyline , if I'm to get a house with a garage, then I'll do what you do too. When I get my bike, I'm deffo getting an anchor to chain the bike to, get a fork lock and a disc lock, get an alarm and get my bike tagged too!!! I'm not letting no mofos nick my bike!
  16. Hi mate, Welcome to the forum. 8) I'm not from London, I'm a Geordie who's living in Manchester now. Just have to say, I wish my Mrs would buy me an 04 R6!
  17. Cool.....I was thinking that I don't really have to buy a house with a garage cos' sheds these days are good enough, especially if I'm going to put an anchor in it to secure my bike!
  18. Yo Guys, I'm thinking of buying a new house soon and then get my bike. Was just wondering whether you guys keep your bike in a garage or not? Will it be safe to park your bike on a cul-de-sac driveway or in a secured shed in the garden if I bought a house without a garage? :?
  19. Thanks, the questions were easy but the hazard preception was a little wierd.
  20. Hi guys, Even if I pass my DAS soon, I think I still can't get a bike untill next year, cos' I need to first move into a house with a garage to store the bike. Where I live now, I just park my car out side my house in a Cul-de-sac car park and if I bought my bike, the best I can do is chain it to my metal fence out side my house and cover it, which probably isn't a good idea right? :?
  21. Thanks guys, I'll be taking the DAS in a month or two so I should be OK.
  22. Hi Guys, I went for my M/C Theory Test this morning and........................ :? I PASSED! Got 35/35 for the theory part and 53/75 for the Hazard Preception. Next step is to go for the DAS course. I need to save for a bit first, I think the course is about £500-£600! I'm going to save for a leather suit and a pair of boots as well (about £500! ) before I do the course (might as well).

@YamaHead: Yeah, the TZR50 looks like a little baby R6 or R1! @Yammiegirl: oops......I forgot you have to be 17......hehe and I'm doing my motorcycle theory test tomorrow aswell!

    1st bike?

@Yammiegirl: I thought once she does her CBT she can ride 125s?? @axl: Yeah man, that bike is sweet looking! But I still prefer the R6......hehehe But I wouldn't mind one of those TZR50 to piss around in if I was GIVEN one!
