  1. Quite like that mini rack on the DT, is it bought or made? Cheers
  2. Please keep them pics coming!
  3. Hi, New shims etc ? What's the total mileage on the bike? (Maybe over 25k?)
  4. Oil consumption is definitely high. Mine sometimes needs a blip on the throttle to get neutral - I think that's quite normal. Haven't noticed much difference with oils, just use what's recommended by local Yam dealer.
  5. Sorry to butt in on this thread, but have just seen jimmythehat's post about changing pulser rotors - have you got any more info on this one? Cheers.
  6. Just wondered if you had succeeded yet? I've the same prob (YZF750 too), tried pulling lever half way, tried with brakes off the bike on a bench, calliper sideways, calliper bleed valve upwards, tapping them, pistons pushed and held in with packing, lever tied up for days, new master cylinder seal, just about everything I can think of that's worked on other problem bikes. Have braided hoses so not sure if I can clamp. Any other advice please?
  7. Found it! The other ( wider) ceramic bush was in the tailpipe - shook it around and got it out.
  8. Taken mine out for cleaning/ lubing but now I can't get rid of a rattle that wasn't there before I "fixed" it. I have the ceramic? bush (about 4mm width) on the far end of the valve itself, but I'm not sure if there should be another item. The workshop manual shows two bushes (not clearly), should one of them stay put inside the exhaust? Sorry for all the ? marks, but any links /photos would help. Thanks.
