  1. I have a Dragstar 400 import which when I looked for quotes a few weeks ago was on the data base. Today I have tried to insure the bike and now it isn't on the insurance companies data base anymore. I have tried various online quotes with different companies and the same thing is happening. Can anyone give me any advice and help please as to how I can insure the bike?, Bennetts quoted £157 with breakdown cover two months ago but now say it isn't on their data base. I'm a 57 year old new biker.
  2. My Dragstar 400 rear brake lever is very high and awkward to use from the footpeg, can it be adjust and would footplates help solve the problem.?? If footplates are the way to go where is the best value place?

  5. Thanks for the advice I didn't realise the tests were the same apart from the bike sizes....... .
  6. The new rules are now 47bhp which leaves a lot of choice, the 650 is well within that limit. I just saw a 400 that looks great and maybe that influenced me.
  7. Hi, I'm a new rider and currently taking my A2 licence lessons, I'm 57 years old and like cruisers and understand I will be able to ride the dragstar 650 or 400 which I like both. My worry is if I go for the 400 how will I be fixed for things like spare parts and extras for example a back rest as the rear mudguard is different with indicators on it. Would I be safer with the 650 as the 400's are all imports from Japan an may be harder to maintain, forgive me if these questions are a little naïve but this will be my first bike for 40 years and I really don't want to get my leg in cash wise on something unsuitable. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
