  1. Yes, i have been looking into cameras as it seems to be around home/work area there seems to be more idiots then anywhere else!! So, what exactly can we do about mobile phone users? There must be something we could all do to start something going... What do you all think?
  2. Looks good for the money! im looking for another box too, I moved jobs so had to lump my box home, starting using it doing jobs on the side so wanted to buy another box for work, slowly build another one up... Let me know how you get on with it and if any thing niggles you with it as that looks a good deal!!
  3. Yes, thinking back now the sensible thing todo is simply forget and carry on with my journey, but at the time my thoughts were very different! - I hope the bmwanker gets court. I must admit, I've had a few bumps when I had a hairdryer but luckily never hurt. I watch these videos and it looks like they just slide and get up but reading up on it they've always got fractured leg and shoulder, shows how careful you've got to be riding a motorbike with idiots on the road, not to mention how easy it is to get into a situation like that. I also find it very weird this guy has the same last name as me! Maybe it's a sign from above? Lol
  4. As much as I would've loved to kick his wingmirrow off and leave a rather big dent in his wing I don't want to get the old bill at my door!! Anyway, I'm happy with a 9.5/10
  5. I agree, I got slapped with 6 points because unfortunately my insurance policy didn't cover me to drive a mates car which I found out at the road side with the car written off due to, whom I believe to be a drunk driver, pulled out on me. I was fully insured and had a clean licence. I lost my job due to being in the motor trade and the traders wouldn't cover me with the points...Yet, some knob with a mobile gets a tiny fine when they're putting lives in danger. They really need to do something more about it!
  6. So here goes my rant, on way home from work the other night, down a dual carriageway coming upto a roundabout. I'm in the inside lane, due to traffic we was rolling at about 20mph, I never filter over 15mph so I'm holding back going with the flow and bang, this twat in the right hand lane (on his phone) just pulls over to the left and comes straight across me. When I say his bumper must of been an inch or two away from my front wheel I'm not lying! I slammed my brakes on as I was going faster them him, he didn't even know. After a wee beep to make him aware I'm there he starts giving me the finger, and a from what I could see a mouthful! So, traffic comes to a stop, I roll up to his window expecting an apology and to be done with... Oh no, he try's to open his door with not much luck due to my leg pushing it closed, he try's to Ram the door open nearly knocking me off my bike whilst trying to push me through the open window. In my opinion, at this point what I done was essential, my right fist has swung over my shoulder and knocked him back in his seat. I then rode off. ALL BECAUSE HE WAS ON HIS BLOODY PHONE, AND DID NOT HAVE ANY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD!! Goes to show how careful you really have to be!
  7. I couldn't even get on to the site for a few days, first day it's been working !! Was rather dissapointed when I wanted to have a rant about the cold weather and road rage!!
  8. Yea, I will leave it! Just need to hurry up and get my tests done. Hopefully get a little ride out tomorrow morning down to cafe, haven't had it out the shed for a few weeks now !! Fingers crossed it won't be lashing it down!
  9. Yes, I must admit my bikes parked in the driveway every night as its a pain getting it in the back every night/morning. Even so it's changed up to a decent ground anchor and the disc brake lock/alarm. Been looking about to get an alarm fitted but haven't had much joy round my area. Luckily enough it's blocked in by a fleet of bloody vans and cars in my driveway so it's not too bad! I agree, now having used it for a few days it has gone off twice with the wind and woken the whole road up! I'm on extra alert at too (pool cue at hand) as 3 bikes got stolen a few nights ago in my area, took a sledge hammer to a wall and pushed them out. Bloody bastards !
  10. Nothing like a greasy burger with a cupper !
  11. Nothing beats the smell of 2 stroke!
  12. I take it I shouldn't go for the bacon butty then slice?
  13. Oh right, yeah been there before a few times with a mate for a cupper! May take a ride there Sunday morn for a cupper and some food!
  14. Where did you go meatloaf? - I'm from Addlestone way so only down the road from your area and don't know many good places to go for a ride!
  15. Hello guys, just picked up a wicked little thing! its an Oxford disc brake lock/alarm, payed roughly £35. Very loud at 100db, very good quality for money too! It's very sensitive as well, I put my key in the ignition and it goes off, Thought I'd post it up for anyone who's looking for a cheap little deterrent!! http://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcycling/motorcycle-security/oxford-screamer-alarm-disc-lock.

    Oh bollocks

Yes, I suppose it wouldn't be the easiest of things todo! I hope you get it sorted soon mate!
  17. As you said it's an incentive to do my test cynic! Yeah not to keen on that idea, it could get fairly chilly! Are you speaking from experience meatloaf

    Oh bollocks

Oh really? I admit, when purchasing my bike they're great and very helpful ect.. I've only ever been once with a problem and in my opinion they didn't really want to know and tried to slap a bill in front of me when the bike was only a month or so old! If you did want to go for a ride, couldn't you bump start it? ( assuming it's geared?)

    Oh bollocks

Is this Yamaha in Woking by any chance meatloaf? - I've had previous dealings with them about an engine management light on my bike and they were terrible!

  21. Hello all, now, I've got a Yamaha wr125x 2015 and I need some advice!! Most days I take the dual carriageway home as my bike is my main form of transport! It's currently all stock apart from a leovince exhaust. I've researched for hours trying to find someone who has messed about with the gearing, I want a wee bit more topend. I know it's a 125 4 stroke and I'm lucky to get 65/70mph out of it but I'd rather sit at them speeds a little more Comfortably in 6th gear. Does anyone know what gear ratios suit this bike better for a little bit more speed? Thanks in advance ! Oh, and merry Christmas guys!!
  22. Agree with finnerz89 - maybe a bad earth? Best to give all connections and spray with wd40 and use clean them up with some sandpaper ! Usually does the trick! Merry Christmas! Something went wrong there? I was meant to say, maybe a bad earth? Best to give all connections a clean with a spray of wd40 and use some sandpaper too!
  23. Defiantly not!! All they care about is the hard earned cash from costumers. Do you guys use genuine filters or aftermarket ones?
  24. Defiantly from now on! So, on a service you would assume they'd check your brake fluid etc, well they didn't. How I know this is because the reservoir was leaking when I first picked up the bike and was the fluid was very low... Not very good ! Moan over !!
  25. This will make you lot laugh, picked up my bike earlier from Yamaha from its first 600 mile service. So, I set off on my way to realise they've messed about with my clutch, ( I know they've got to tighten it up but if felt horrible!!). Once I got home I had a look at the invoice, they've charged nearly £15 in SUNDRIES, and £5 for 'environmental disposal' - being in the motor trade I know that 'sundries' is not £15 !! Nor getting rid of the old filter and oil is a fiver worth! Never going back, servicing it myself from now on... Rip off!
