  1. Cheers for the advice guys. My colleague has lent me his oxford lock, and when I retrieve the bike (fingers crossed today) Then I will be chaining it to anything I can when I leave it anywhere.
  2. Heh, tell me about it. Cheers for the link.
  3. I was at work today and I got a phone call from my mum saying the police were at my address and that they had pulled over a van containing my bike. The pricks had come into the car park (Shared by Leicestershire police) and put the bike in their van. They managed to make it 3 miles with the bike before being pulled over for looking shifty as f**k. I have posted my place of work and the fact I had a new bike on this forum, and I do wonder if they have been scouting on here and decided to come and collect it. Needless to say, I will be chaining it to a lamppost from now on (When I eventually get it back from the police) One of the guys has been caught, and the other 2 ran off. Funny thing is, I am an IT technician and I have access to all of the CCTV footage, which has already been handed to the police. Hope they get what they deserve, and if I ever see anyone touching my bike again, the tools I carry with me will develop a new purpose... Any of you guys had any similar experiences?
  4. If I were to go to another one, I wouldn't get to meet you Drewpy... That, and I haven't had a proper run out on the bike yet. Maximum I've sat on it is an hour, so I think 3-3.5 hours would be a decent time to really get to know the bike. I work for Rutland County Council, and have informed them of the event and asked for present donations. With staff totalling 500, I am hoping to be bringing panniers full of gifts
  5. I'm definitely up for this. Trying to convince some people who aren't on here to come too. Hailing from Leicestershire, so will be setting out at 7:30 to get there on time. But totally worth it to make the Christmas of some of those who are less fortunate. See you guys there!
  6. Cheers for the warm welcome guys!
  7. Speedo cable fit right in. Got someone to follow me in a car. I raised my hand when I got to what I thought was 30, then 40 and then 60. 30 Was on the dot, 40 was real close and 60 was actually about 53. I have not done any additional config as I have no idea how, but I am not entirely fussed as at least I won't be caught speeding. If I remember, I will post photos tomorrow.
  8. replaced the clock with an after market one. Looks sweet as hell! Will post a picture when I can. Cheers for the advice!
  9. Hi Guys! I'm Harry. I'm 21, from Leicestershire and the proud owner of a brand new YBR-125 Custom. As a new rider, I'm both excited, nervous but most of all, full of questions so fingers crossed, someone will be able to give me some pointers
  10. Hi guys. Not long passed my CBT and decided to get myself a lovely YBR-125 custom, brand new. Unfortunately, I ended up coming off on my first ride out on it and smashed up the dash. I've looked at replacing this, but a new part is going to set me back at least £250, and to be honest, the stock dash is the only part about the bike I find unattractive. So, my question is, could someone please tell me what the ratio is for the speedo in order to replace it with a non-stock part and for it to be accurate?
