  1. Best bit of dripping was the thick brown base. Thick white bread and loads of salt

  4. Just like to recommend David at QMS B1 Lake Street Nottingham NG7 4BT 0115 9787828 He replaced the drive belt, rollers, and spark plug on my old scooter for £30 labour.Had a call from him to say scooter ready for collection less that 2 hours after dropping it off. He also recently carried out the 3rd service on my granddaughters scooter for less than half the supplying dealers quote. Genuine bloke who cares as much about your scooter as you do. P.s he also offers a recovery service. Scooters are only a tiny percentage of David's business he is predominantly motorcycle's Cheers

  9. Anyone else on here a Yamaha scooter owner ?
  10. Thanks for the heads up. I'm old enough and fortunet enough to have seen Mr Sheene riding. Last time was supposedly a few parade laps at the 1996 50th anniversary of the Cock of the North at Olivers Mount Scarborough. It was also Hondas 50th anniversary and then only way they could a No. 1 plate on their world superbike was to poach Carl Fogarty. He was also supposed to be doing parade laps. Needless to say they both "forgot" this a gradually got faster and faster. Foggy on a rc45 and sheenie on his Suzuki. Both then spent an age with the crowds in pit lane. Most miserable person there ? Agostini. Came in by helicopter. Did 3 parade laps on his MV Agusta and promptly left.
  11. Welcome Bob Mad Dog. Everyone nice and friendly here so chat should soon start flowing.
  12. Thanks for the welcome. Enyoyed the ride home after picking my scooter up. Must admit pleasantly surprised with the handling. If it corners like this on cold wet roads bring on some sunshine. The instrumentation is excellent and well on par with any car I've driven. Will upload some photos and give a more detail review in a couple of weeks when I have put some miles on her. PS Mike 1949 I have no trouble getting my leg over just trouble gauging the wife's mood.
  13. Just a quick aye up. Pick up my 2014 yp250r x Max on the 14th December. Had to give up motorcycles due to rheumatoid arthritis in hips and hands. Will keep you updated on my feelings towards this scooter. Cheers
