If its blown the water pump seal again that would suggest a blown head gasket as its clearly pressurized the cooling system? Where can I find head gaskets for Athena big bore kits?

Yeah the bike has a bore kit on it. I was afraid this would happen.. also its leaking coolant out the weep hole again after installing a new seal less than an hour ago.

I was fearing it would be the head gasket.

After a ride so yeah when it's hot.

Replaced the seal tonight and that solved the problem. Now its leaking out thr overflow. Way more than it should. Any ideas?

Thanks mate. Yeah its showing full in the sight glass. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need to add oil anywhere else

Update. Have discovered its leaking from the bottom of the water pump cover. Out the weep hole I think it is? What does this usually imply?

Hi guys, just a quick one. I just dropped the oil out of my bike from one plug on the side and one underneath. Im under the impression the engine and gearbox share the same oil. I filled the oil up from the filler plug on the other side of the bike. Is this the only place I need to fill? Will it fill both engine and box? Thanks.

Hey guys, noticed after a ride yesterday that my top radiator hose was hissing and bubbling at the clamp, and also where the coolant line goes to the head ( not the water pump) it seems to be weeping from there. Enough to drop half a radiator worth over night. Unless its also leaking when I ride. Any ideas what it could be? Ps. Oil is not milky

Hey all, figured I'd better join a forum as I've just got back into the riding scene as of today. First bike I ever owned was a 2000 Yz250, absolute beast of a bike but temperamental as all hell. But still I loved that bike to bits. Sadly she popped on me about 2 years ago and hasnt gone since. So today my new baby arrived at its new home. 2010 Yz450f. After the brief ride today I'm more than impressed with the performance of the bike. Its got a 500cc bore kit on it so she's got a fair punch! Anyway, only a matter of time before I start breaking things (or myself?) So im sure ill have plenty of queries for you guys. Thanks -BradZ

Hey guys, brand new to this site as ive just purchased my second Yamaha today. As the title states shes a '10 yz450f. My question is, occasionally when in gear the bike wants to creep foward even while the clutch is in. Ive tried adjusting it at the lever but haven't been able to fix it. Where else should I be looking for thr cause of this issue? Thanks.
