  1. Greetings chaps, Finally bought me a biggie - for me anyway. Got an xj6 at the weekend and had a marvellous time riding her home, it's some difference from my beloved dragstar 125 I can tell you. Anyone else out there much experience on the xj6? Wouldn't mind hearing a few fellows opinions on the bike, especially as I've just come out of hernia surgery and ain't likely to ride for two-three weeks...booo hooo eh!
  2. lol It sure did fly by though, sign of a great time had
  3. Congrats on passing your CBT. I only just got my full license December past and loved the previous year riding my xvs125, I'm sure you can't wait to get that first bike out on the road, not much beats riding. When I rode last year under my CBT I drilled two holes into the bottom of my reg plate and attached the l-plate with some plastic nuts and bolts. I imagine that as long as you've got the l-plates clearly on display and securely in place front and back you're unlikely to attract the wrong attention. I worried like a loon that the cops would stop me when my l-plate broke off last September, best thing that could have happened though, because It got me taking lessons to get the full license
  4. Great to hear, I passed my test in December and haven't grown the big kahunas to take a pillion yet! Can't wait to now Hilarious vid, that guy rode for the wall with hell-bent intent!
  5. Thanks for the welcome guys. Twas November 2012 when I got my bike, not 2013 like I said earlier! First post first boo-boo!! Blackhat250 I got some acf-50 for the bike, seems to work a treat. Anyone else use the same? A fan of sci-fi Ttaskmaster eh, those were two smashing books you mentioned, but I'm guessing I should save book-talk for another site!!
  6. Hey folks, my first post so I'm just introducing myself and saying Hello. I ride an xvs125 and have done so since November 2013, commuting mostly but I go for run-abouts with a few buds when conditions are nice (taking up the rear mostly-cruising I suppose!). I 'm not totally new to the site though, I've been browsing threads and picking up advice on and off ever since I got my bike. Cheers for that Kev
