  1. Haha I'm going to change it for sure mate, thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Oh btw could low lubrication on the chain be a factor not helping neutral to be engaged? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Changed the oil recently and the oil level is fine. And for the chain tension, do I push up the chain from half way through, I shouldn't have a chain that travels more than 3 cm vertical correct? Thanks for your help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Actually in Greece, during winter, we can get decent amounts of rain, still though my DT will be in a garage most of the time, not sure if I would still own it if it wasn't indoors haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. My '79 DT175 sometimes takes ages to get into neutral! And week by week, it seems like it's increasing in terms of difficulty to find neutral. Any advice or help is appreciated Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Will give it a look, thank you sir! Btw drachmas are preferred by some Greeks over here, not sure if they're trying to blame their debt on the euro after changing to it haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Summer has basically about to start for me, what do you think I should start of fixing on my own in terms of looks before taking it to the shop to fix a fuel leak that I suspect is the fuel tap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'm pretty sure that the new samsung galaxy s5 has an additional screen sensitivity setting within the phone, pretty cool feature for bikers out there but not sure if that would work with all gloves not mention the price of it though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. @blackhat haha my exhaust looks really ugly I know, just had to do that in time cause my exhaust seemed like a good meal for rust, the bike had surface rust but most of that is now covered with good old black paint. I guess I will repaint the exhaust black after my exams this summer, or even if I get lucky I will get a new after market exhaust on it and oh btw, since you mentioned different tailights on DT's, I find the one on my DT to be really hideous unlike the one on Tom's DT400, just wanted to point that out.
  10. Hey Tom, thought I would share a photo of my DT with you: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hello keali'i, I'm another 17 year old on here Welcome!
  12. Ah right. I totally forgot about the subscription. Once again sorry for posting in the wrong section Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. p.s sorry for posting this here, for some reason the 'wanted' section does not allow new topics Thanks in advance that's because you have to subscribe, the site needs funds to function, drewps
  14. That's one gorgeous bike! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I don't want to go out of subject but 1 of the only things that I don't like about DT's are the taillight, in my opinion they look. hideous and don't reflect the active character of the DT. That said, I adore the large headlight on DT's and the huge indicators look pretty conspired to today's bikes mini signals. This might be just my opinion though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Ah that's just plain cool! It's amazing how practical they could be over the years. Owning a 2 stroke just means that you got to leave your house 5 mins before normal and keep an extra pound or 2 for the fuel consumption. Glad that I got into the community through such a nice bike! 17. Just trying to figure out how long those beasts could live. Bought my 1980 DT175MX at 39,000 kilometers (24,000 miles). Seems a lot compared to similar people on the forum with the same bike. I spent some cash on it and now it's like a queen. So how many miles has your DT done? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Your taste in British bikes seems very similar to Japanese bikes if I'm not wrong. Old school dual sports are one of the best types of rides in my opinion!
  19. @Tommy10bikes, you have got a gorgeous collection of bike!!
  20. At the beginning I liked it for its looks. Like to show how street-able a '70s - '80s dual sport is. And oh it on my bike either/or
  21. Basically, I liked it since it made the bike look more practical.
  22. I won't bother with it anymore then. For some reason it looked good when I imagined it on mine
  23. @Airhead, so with some fiddling around, it will still not bolt on?
  24. The other day I was looking through some photos of old DT's and came across thing beauty, which looks like a DT but the front end quite confuses me in terms of model, anyway back to the point. There is this thing behind the seat that looks like a "seat extender" which in my view looks really good. Does anyone have any information regarding this chrome piece? Was is an option extra? And can it be fit for later model DT's like my '80 DT175MX? It really grabs my attention, and oh btw the rider's seat looks quite shorter. Photo below: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
