  1. Hi Neil. A warm welcome from our world to you and your daughter!
  2. Welcome Claire! Glad your mojo has returned (I've never seen one but am assured they're real!) and that you're coming back to two wheels. Look forward to hearing more from you as Adam re-awakens
  3. Funny thing is, this wasn't the video I meant to post (selected the wrong link) but I reckon it's going down better than the one I planned so, hey....
  4. No, really http://youtu.be/BDznJMSoAoQ
  5. May have been a pain but it looks good I always liked the offset fuel cap on the 400 Bandit, one of those rare, sensible additions to a bike (subequently abandoned!)

    Nailed It!

Congratulations! Well done for sticking with what you wanted and for moving back to the civilised parts
  7. We always used to reckon on 150-250 per day. Don't forget, the wonderfully twisty bits take a lot longer!
  8. Glad you are okay. Loving the look of the bike, gives me ideas for when I decide to take life a bit easier
  9. I was very good for the first running in period (it was my first brand new bike). Soon as the first service was done, I nailed it all the way home from the garage
  10. Hi Sam Welcome to the club! There are a lot of very helpful people here and they're so nice, I stayed even though I don't have a Yamaha anymore You're right on the big bike thing. The hardest part is getting used to moving the thing around at slow/no speed, but it feels much more stable on the move. Also nice to know that you can accelerate your way out of trouble Katie
  11. I know I probably shouldn't but hey, I don't trust any of them!
  12. When I had a FZR400 I always found this site incredibly helpful http://www.400greybike.com/
  13. Rubbish thing to happen. Glad you're not too badly damaged
  14. HI Shaun In answer to your question, the answer is no, it doesn't make any difference what brand you go for. Never felt any difference on any bike, or heard of anyone else mentioning a preference, so go for the cheap stuff! Er, as long as it's the right DOT
