  1. I'm fancying this, I'm coming over from Wigan so its about an hour or so drive to the start then its looking like a nice two hour drive back through Hawes, I reckon that route will be busy on the day
  2. Good timing for this thread! I bought a Shark Raw few weeks back and have noticed it's a bit noisier than I'm used to, I've just ordered some of those from Amazon that twincle mentioned, hopefully it'll work on blocking out the kids too......
  3. Thanks Clarke, first one on that page looks nice, problem with some of the cruiser ones is they look like they belong on a horse! Andy
  4. Gotta love em, they just don't have the fear like an adult does, my lad lives with his mum and ever since my car was in the garage for repairs and I picked him up on the bike now every week I have to collect him on it.
  5. Sunny and stuck in work....ARGH

  6. Cheers for the reminder Slice! Andy.
  7. Hey folks, I'm Andy, 36 from Wigan, UK I've had bikes for the main part since i was 17 (oh yeah now I feel old). I've always had sports bikes, from my RD125, RGV250, CBR400, GSXR600 etc... but with traffic on roads these days and be generally not nailing it everywhere and, I admit, watching too much American Chopper and Sons of Anarchy I bought myself, or really the wife bought me (oh yeah she's a keeper!) a 950 midnight star. I really am loving this bike although keeping it off the pegs round corners is still a work in progress! I looked around for some extra info and came across this site I took and look round, looks like its inhabited by a good set of folks Cheers, Andy
  8. Hi guys, I've recently bought an XVS 950a Midnight Star (really loving it by the way!) I'm struggling to find some decent cheapish panniers and wondered if anyone had any recommendations? I don't need them massive really just looking to pop my leathers in there on days out, would prefer lockable ones due to this. Thanks for reading. Andy
