Would it still be flowing if the bike is on tick over mate ? And there is note else really that I could of damaged it was only a little crash didn't think owt of it until my temp light came on lol

Don't no mate haven't tuck my casing off the water pump to have a look, would I still be able to hear it without removing to casing? and nope it was the other side I hit mate

Hello to all you members I crashed my 2004 dtr lastnight going about 10mph it damaged the side panel and put I little dent on my exhaust. The bike never hit the floor I stayed onto the bike just scrapped the side on a wooden post in the dark whiles off roading, The problem I am having is that the bike tempter gauge comes on after riding around for about 10mins it want come on when riding only when It is ticking over or at some lights, but then when I set off again the light will turn off. I checked of any pipes were damaged or cracked but can't see any that are also top re coolent up Any help would be great people Cheers Lewis

Have you had a look at the side stand swith as on my 2004 model if the stand is down and I change down to first gear my bike will stall Might be worth a look mate

Think am gunna buy myself a set on pay day then lol as these on road maxxis are shit lol waste of money and time putting them on haha Cheers guys

Hello all am wanting to put some super moto wheels on my dtr 125 I have been looking at the proper ones of the sm model but abit pricey lol So wanted too know if anyone has fit/modded any off any other bike if so what is need to make them fit correctly Will aprilia RS 125 wheels fit on or cagiva mito one? Any help would be great people Cheers

Yer forks are all good and flush lol just the shit nobbies that are making the ride poor as, Were is the cheapest place to get a set of these conti's please and what they like off road I don't do off roading but say if I needed to what are they like? Cheers

Hello all Need some help on picking some new on road tyres for my dtr 125. I have been running on e marked nobbies for a while now and don't like how they rock the bike at high speeds like if I went over 120km on a long road it would shake my front end loads nearly ripping my arms off lol So need some help picking some nice on road tyres Any help would be great Cheers

Good point airhead I just wanted abit more speed but I know what you mean about the life of the engine lol Am Happy with the ride and speed atm so happy days ill fit the carbon reeds as already ordered them now Thanks for your help My next thing is defo super moto wheels gunna try fit some aprilia RS 125 wheels as like the look of them on dtr

What so you think it will be a waste of time and effort cutting the thing out of the manifold yer? Well I go with the carbon reeds but not the 15t sprocket as I thought the same lol. What would you say is the next best thing to do apart from disconnecting the power vavle Cheers

Hello to all you yamaha dtr owners Just wanted to know if any of you have fitted carbon fiber reeds to your reed block? there are soon on ebay for £20 including postage if any of you have fitted them is it worth doing like? has it made any differences to the top end speed or take off speed as i want more speed out of my little bike atm i can get it nearly off the clock 140km Things i have fitted and done are Full dep pipe Earthed the wire be hide the speedo drive Up jetted it Also had a rebore as need top end rebuild anyways Blocked the air box bottle off with tape Standard Sprocket 57 rear and 16 front also got told to put a 15 tooth on for my top end speed not to sure tho lol My next thing to do is cut the block thing out of the manifold rubber just waiting on my hex keys to come off ebay if anyone else has done owt else that i haven't stated that has increased your bike speed please drop me replay Cheers members hope to hear back

Got it fit today when on a treat just one mount did not line up so just rapped a metal tie rap around the pipe and mine fine lol Also did what you said about the rubber pipe fines fine think it may need up jetting not to sure yer tho Cheers for your help

Hello people need some help on my dtr 2004, i got a dep pipe offline the other day as my standard exhaust is dead, On my standard exhaust there is a chrome bar that has few rubber pipes that go back into the air box. heard that its a eco friendly thing for the co2 but not to sure myself. anyway on the dep pipe there is no hole for the chrome pipe to attach to so wanted to know what is need to do?? can i just block the chrome pipe up or would i have to remove the hole thing i.e all the rubber pipes to the air box ect? this is a photo of the standard exhaust with the chrome pipe ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT GUYS CHEERS

Hello all well i went out on my dtr today and there was a strange noise coming for the engine/side case sounds like a babys rattle stuck in there haha Gets worse when hot and not so bad when cold, at first thought it was coming from the head but not to sure now think its coming from the water pump but could be owt, everytime i twist the throttle it happens starting to put it off riding it untill i get it fixed. The bike runs and rides great can go throw all the gears with no loss in power any help with be great i will upload a video tomorrow so you can all hear the sound cheers

were is the best place on the frame to earth it to people cheers
