My YBR was stolen a month back and only recently I've got it out of the police pound after they had recovered, police raided a house on a drugs search and found five stolen bikes in total and luckily enough my bike was one of them.
After having a good look at the bike it is in bits.
The steering lock was snapped
They hotwired the bike and messed up the wiring
They took the spark plug out
They've locked the rear wheel
Both side panels removed
The vents under the tank were removed
The clock casing was damaged
And the front mud guard snapped
My main objective at the moment is getting the bike running so I need a new igniton barrel, was wondering if anyone has an 08 YBR and had a similar problem? Or if anyone knows how much a new ignition barrel be?
I have looked on Ebay but I couldn't find one that would fit an 08 model and I don't want to get one that wouldn't fit or work with it...
So I might have to go through Yamaha or my local dealer/parts specialist for it.
