can anybody tell me the size of a 125 piston aswell mine is 65mm ish as the top is slightly rounded thats from top to bottom though whats the size of a 50 cc piston?

did u get that by looking at the pictures or the sn diagrams cuz i dont think it looks like a 50cc engine atall

heres pictures of my engine, barrel, piston and carb and from what i can tell is the cdi i might be wrong correct me if i am. if anybody can tell me the year i would be very great full.

ive looked and the engine numbers are 5m6077262 can anybody tell me what year this engine is or tell me were i can find it out need to know asap so i can order parts.

my piston skirts broken off while it blew up and fell into the crank is there any ways to remove the 1 solid bit without splitting the engine?

hi is there any tutorials on here to replace the crank or does anybody know of any sites that has one?

hi my names andy im 19, i've only really worked on ped engines before but now i got myself a dt 125 to learn and do my full test on and to tinker around with the engine abit then hopefully upgrade to a wr 250 or 450 not sure yet

i have a dt its registered as a 50cc 1993 model but it has a 125 engine fitted, now the previous owner said he thinks its a 05+ engine but is not sure i was wondering if there's ways i could tell what year it is buy certain parts and another thing it need a new piston kit and i was wondering should i get the vertex piston kit that's £56.95 or the mitaka piston kit that's £39 is the vertex one much better for the £16 difference. Im planning on doing a few things as I am going to keep this bike for 1 year so i then have 2 years no claims and do my full bike test within the next year, any advice would be perfect as I've only ever worked on moped engines but i have some knowledge of geared engines i can replace pistons and cranks and various other things.
