hi jimmy thanks for that but sadly i carn't find them for my bike its a yamaha xt125x 06 plate can't seem to find them any where its a ball ache getting parts for this bike ...

hi everyone could anyone tell im if a ybr head bearings are the same bearings for a xt125x cause iv looked every where for some and can't find any.....

Oh yeah proper buzzing glad I got to the bottom of it glad I didn't buy a new speedo at least now if it happens to someone else they can read this and hopefully sort there's out coz there's nowt on the net about these speedos an there like rocking horse shit to get hold of or it's 125quid for a universal plus fitting crazy cash .....

Just an update where the horn is and lights button is etc I took it off and it was full of water I dryed it out and now the speedo is fully working with no problems at all thanks guys for all your info and look forward to asking more questions in the near future......

lol turned full beam on speedo worked then it went off so punched the light button and low an behold the fucking thing is fully working lol.....

ok chaps this is doing my head in riding home from work and what do you know speedo working lighting up etc soon as i turn the bike off nothing what could cause this ???

Hi Air head i don't even have a clue where to start to see if its getting power i took the speedo off the other day opened it everything looked fine ie no water or any thing that looked burn't out etc checked to see if all wires were conected everything seems to look in order ....

feel better now knowing you payd more for yours on the same year lol just gonna order new speedo then crack on with me mods then hopefully get a suzuki drz 400.....

lol iv had 6 rs aprilias never had problem with the engines. though id get this xt125x as i could do mod 1 and 2 onit the guy i bought it off keept it well maintaned full service every 6 month i pay £1100 for it and its in imacullate condition i just think im getting the bad luck for this bike as he said he's never had a problem with it when he owned it .......

cheers for the reply looks like its gonna be a new speedo im gutted... why would yamaha put these clocks on if there known for dying might just trade the thing in for a aprillia rs or a mito seems to be somthing every week with this bike lol

only bought the bike 4 week ago been out onit twice once when it pissed it down but it was fine second time again no problem last friday nothing just the green light also did you full beam not work when yours died ??

did your old clock just die without warning ??? i was hoping it was gonna be a fuse

hi every one iv run into a problem last weekend i went out on my bike for a few hours and the speedo was working ie. lighting up telling me the speed etc came home put the bike away come to go out on it again and nothing no speed it dosen't light up what could be the problem ? also noticed that the blue full beam light don't come only light that works is nutrual.....

Hi, I'm looking for some help with this for a mate... The bikes a yamaha xt125x 2006, the last time it was rode he covered 100 miles in a downpour, put the bike away, a week later turned the key and the battery area started smoking, switched off the ignition the rectifier wire is melted, sorted the wiring out and now the bike starts but will only idle if you rev it it dies, any ideas ?
