  1. That's the only one on eBay if I'm not mistaken. If it breaks, I'd literally have nothing to use then. So I'm going for LEDs. I'm gonna convert the AC power to DC, hook up two LEDs for high and low beams and hope for the best. As I said before, I have a buddy that knows what he's doing. Thanks for the links though. The first one will be quite helpful in the future in case I decide to rebuild anything.
  2. Ordered sponge and made my own filter. Bike is running amazingly, but electrical stuff seems to be the issue now. Sadly I've found out that the headlamp is discontinued. Luckily I live with someone that knows a bit about electrical wiring (plus I know a decent amount myself) and so I'll be doing a custom install using an LED, I think. Thanks for your help from before, Airhead.
  3. Never hurts to try... usually. Thanks for that link, I'll start looking elsewhere. Maybe I can find a place near me. Luckily I live in Michigan, so there's auto parts stores everywhere.
  4. Thanks. I assumed that, but didn't know for sure. Yes, there is a separate one for the two stroke located under the seat. I'll look into buying that at a later time, I'm short on cash and trying to spend the least amount of money possible. Thanks tons. I'll just have to figure out what to use as an air filter now. The only ones I see for this bike at ~$40.
  5. Thanks. Here is the same model as mine, but in worse condition. I'll take my own pictures later when I have the chance. http://www.usahonda....asp?pov=2136223 Thanks, I'll try that. I was sent here from another section saying that they might miss me there.
  6. I'm not only new to these forums, but new to being a Yamaha owner. The main reason I joined is because Reddit's Yamaha section leads here and I needed help with my bike. It's an old HT1-90 Enduro (prolly 1970) and I've cleared up most of the problems with it. We thought the oil pump was broken, but it seems like the gas line is pulling in air from somewhere; possibly the on/off valve (I don't know the mechanical term for it). So that problem is fixed, hopefully. The only issues I seem to have now are that I don't know what type of oil to buy for filling the crankcase and my air filter is gone. The crankcase missing oil because I'm dumb and took the case off to replace a hose that I have removed improperly. The air filter was just old and I want to buy the sponge to put in it, but I don't know where to get just sponge from. Any help is appreciated. Thanks tons.
  7. Thanks tons. I'll post in there and introduce myself. Also, nice pic of The Dude.
  8. I just got this bike from my grandpa. It was sitting up north for a few years since the last time it was used. Currently, it will start up and run for a bit, but after a few it bogs out. To me it seems like it's not getting enough gas. The carburetor has been cleaned out and I have checked pretty much everything else. My dad mentioned that the oil pump might not be working correctly, but I'm not sure how to tell. My guess is that it's just not getting gas though. Also, I messed something up, took off the crankcase to fix it and obviously lost all of the oil that was in it. I'm new to bikes and was wondering what kind of oil you put in a crankcase. Is it a specific type? If so, where would be a good place to get it? A Yamaha dealership or something? Another issue I have is that my air filter basically disintegrated and I wanted to just buy the material to put in it. Is this possible? Can someone PM me or link me to a place that has it? Thanks to anyone that replies. I've been really wanting to ride this thing around.
