to the forum simmons I cant really help with your Q but would suggest starting with a hpi check or similar, or contacting dvla or yamaha to see if you can find out a little more about the bike, All the best mate, Eddie

Very Old thread, Now, 124 mph from a 50??? Has it got an r1 engine in it?? Or is that in kph?? (Still very fast for 50cc's) If not i would seriously look into getting a new speedo,,, clock,cable & drive Or a video of this "50" doing 124 would be nice

Haha found it, on mobile site there is a blue square with 4 small white boxes inside at the very top, this is a button.... How did i not see that. Lmao. Another quick question, anyone know the symbols/words for the emoticons im seeing i know the smiley is :+) = , but whats symbols for the welcome & headbang etc? Im using my iphone, pages are a little different and 3g internet isnt very fast takes ages to navigate pages, ill find it, no worries

Thanks for the warm welcome. yes i did like my kmx although it had a small powervalve issue with 1st gear, seemed to take a while to hit but when it did it was nice, all other gears were fine just pulloff a little slow, sadly some little buggers thought theyd help themselves and cut through 2 thick chains to get at it, next time i saw the bike it was a wreck in the impound after a copper knocked a lad off it & shattered his ankle(haha served him right theiving scum) but yeah was a nice bike, not quite as fast as my dtr but still nice, All the best. Cheers for that cynic, i have tried riding strait from start up, it just fouls the plug an dies, i found blipping the throttle helps clear it up quicker, it only smokes for around 2-3 mins tops(prob not even that) but it is bad, worse than iv ever seen before, looks like very thick cigarette smoke just before you inhale it, my kmx125 did this too but not as bad(some little buggers nicked it before i had chance to look over it properly).
