    The Big Meet!

Yeh will do Moz! I can't get any reply from my boys in Easton on their mobiles so I'll have to go down soon to find out WTF is going on. I last went to Fowlers about 3 years ago and it was pretty impressive then, so it must be amazing now.

    The Big Meet!

I've always liked Bristol....very biker friendly place with plenty of motorcycle specific parking areas which you don't see elsewhere. I haven't been to Fowlers since they've revamped it, so I'll have to take a run down there soon.
  4. The Norton ads were great....the bikes were complete shite...but the women in them...WOW! 8)

    The Big Meet!

Incidentally, any of you going to the Welsh Show at the end of May? If you're looking for cheap kit, then this is the place to go. And when I say cheap, I mean "Don't ask questions" sort of cheap. For example, last year one piece leather suits were going for £100, and Oxford locks normally £40 were going for a tenner! Details here: http://www.mag-cymru.co.uk/builth/show.htm

    The Big Meet!

Me and Alex were talking about a big meet for everybody in the next few months. But the location will have to be a mutually convenient point for everybody. I'm in Mid Wales, Alex is in Brighton....so from those 2 locations the mutually convenient pont would be somewhere like Swindon. I think Derek is near Swindon too, and Mozzy is in Bristol, so that fits in with those guys. So can you post your locations here and we can try and gauge a central point that suits everybody.
  8. Do you want Julian Solos? Some of the Americans here may have heard of him on a mutitude of US forums that he's been banned from! Absolutely beyond description he is!
  9. Yeh I know that Alex! I've still got some twats to send over though!
  10. You've had a link on our portal for 3 weeks Alex! But I'll put something up on the Forum to send some people over!
  11. I don't understand this you know! They pick up on a quite a few negative points... No centrestand....the original Fazer had one. Lumpy at low revs round town.....the original Fazer is the smoothest bike I've ever ridden at low revs. Brakes not up to it and are only 2 pot calipers.....the original Fazer had the R1 4 pot calipers. No storage under the seat....the original Fazer has. Difficult to get a good foothold on the sidestand......the original Fazer was no problem. No bungee points.....the original Fazer has. Tall gearing......the original Fazer is spot on. Dimpled seat that holds water on it.....the original Fazer hasn't got this. Notchy gearbox......the original Fazer hasn't. And at the end of all this....what's the verdict bearing in mind that the new model is £500 more than the old one? The NEW FZ6 is a far better bike! WTF planet are these idiots on?
  12. Oi Mozzy...you should sign up over on GigaBikes as well. It's not a rival forum to this cos it's a general forum rather than brand-specific like this one! Post in Newbies that you're there and you'll be admitted to the full board! I'm not spamming honestly Alex...I just thought Mozzy should be unleashed in other places as well! Here's the link www.gigabikes.com/forums/index.php
  13. ........when aliases start turning up! Are some of you thinking the same as me? 8)
  14. You're not linking the image mate. The image URL will always end in .jpeg or .gif.
  15. Here's one of the most famous Yams...based on a YDS3.
  16. Here it is Tweek...you linked the URL of the page rather than the photo itself.
  17. I think it's called "Against all odds". You really want to see it....cos as you probably remember, years ago we hardly ever saw any coverage of motorcycle racing. And his level of skill compared to the likes of Ago, Read etc is staggering....has to be seen to be believed. You also see some of his legendary overtakes on bends while on the grass....amazing stuff. We'll never see the likes of him again!
  18. Have you seen the Duke Video tribute to him mate? Phenomenal....every race it's like there's no one else on the track...yet youngsters would like at the record books today and wonder what all the fuss was about. But I've never seen complete dominance like that in all classes either before or after him.
  19. Here's the greatest rider that ever lived....my lifelong hero, the late Jarno Saarinen. who died tragically May 20th 1973 at Monza.
  20. Upload it to your own webspace and link to it mate. If you haven't got web space suitable, feel free to the store them on the GigaBikes Gallery http://gigabikes.com/gallery/index.php
