  1. I get it blasted by lasers, then drench it in vaginal fluids, and a final soak in fermented, pus-ridden ear wax! You can't beat OldSchool ways!
  2. The wife had a little SR125 about 5 years ago. And I blew it up!
  3. This time without getting lost, and without a Beemer! Cos I took this one! Same old thing during the Summer months.....out by 10am and back by 2pm. Cos 2-5 is mucho calor bebe! First, it was across to Puedla de Don Fadrique and then up the infamous Santiago road with 25 miles of narrow twisties. Then a stop for coffee in Santiago..... Great views all around too! Then back on the road....it's always deserted! Then mile after mile through the mountain roads! You might think this would be a good place to go offroad....but I wouldn't risk it! Why? Am I worried about getting the bike dirty? Of course I am! Who isn't? Too hot for offroading? Bloody right! But there's another reason! Cos everytime I stopped, took my helmet off and earplugs out....the sound of thousands of things hissing was deafening. So bad that I could barely hear anything on my mobile! It was absolutely thunderous! Now, it may not be snakes.....but I'm not taking any bloody risks! So I stuck to the road! Much safer....and cleaner! In total, about 120 miles today....making 220 miles for the XT this weekend. And it's had a real caning, but it runs much better for it. I'm so busy at the moment that I've just got to grab a few hours here and there....but in Spain there's so much space to explore, and the roads are so quiet, that any run is enjoyable! And the roads are dry too! Which is nice!

Sounds to me like you selected e-mail notification on new threads with the original a/c. Just tell me or Alex the name of the old a/c and we'll check, then delete it so the notification mails will stop.

    1975 xs500

Looks fantastic condition! Don't think there's anybody else on here with one, so do a search for any owners groups on Yahoo or MSN! I doubt if you'll find one cos they were never a popular bike when they were made....though I know there's a 650 group out there.

    What e-mails are you getting?
  9. What Boozehound said....plus Germany!
  10. Is there a prize for guessing where and when this takes place?
  11. Mine starts from cold (after leaving for weeks) in 2 or 3 kicks. Have you checked to see if the choke is working OK because they need a lot of choke to fire and during warm-up. The other thing is your kicking technique.....from cold I find TDC then a strong kick with full choke and no throttle. If you get this part wrong and keep kicking you may be flooding it.
  12. Alex is 26? Have a good day you bikeless Brighton saddo!
  13. Many of them have defective ECU's....causing spluttering and cutting out. Yamaha are replacing them under warranty so just ask your dealer to order you a new one.
  14. And there used to be a thriving Divvy group on MSN.
  15. You Da Man Moz! We gotta keep showing the Mullets who calls the shots in here! And where's Alex the Brighton Rectum Stretcher these days?

    Workshop Manuals!

The thing is, the 500's and 600's were the main sellers....the 550 has always been seen as a sort of transient model in-between.

  18. I fucking love it! I've been waiting years for this! Oh....and here's Scott's next door neighbour.....
