  1. It is even more than that. If driving one DT is making fun, driving 5 DT's is given 5 times more fun. We have about 3 to 4 meetings a year, starting this year on the 21st of april at a two-stroke-meeting. Not only driving is making fun, also the conversations with the owners inbetween the rides. All of them do have a special relationship with the DT. Some are personalizing the DT completly, others restore the bike into showroomconditions. The picture was made at the last meeting of last year, in Bilstain Belgium.
  2. We have rescued the same bike. You in Norway, I in the Netherlands. I saw your video on Youtube and allthough it is hard to compare, I think yours sounds more powerfull. Maybe because of the 90-jet. Your bike looks very well. Here you can see my DT (and myselve) in action, during one of the meeting we have with the Dutch Yamaha DT-club.
  3. One bike is missing in the list "current bikes". (Yamaha DT125R)
  4. Hello, I have restored my DT125LC. The bike is from 1983 and in my possesion from 2003. The bike looks quit well, however is not in showroomcondition. The bike is used for small trips and tours with the Dutch Yamaha DT club (also off-road). I am looking forward to help you with the DT125LC article. I am living in the Netherlands, but I hope that is not a problem. I will reply also by email, so you will have my emailadres. On the Dutch DT-site the DT125LC is shown a lot. www.yamaha-dt.web.com Hope to hear from you soon. One video (more was not allowed): and some pictures:
  5. Wow, your DT is looking great. I have the same, but not in the same condition. Bought it in 2003 and replaced a lot of parts, Buddyseat, front fender, exhaust (Gianelli), spokes rearwheel, chain, tires, piston (0.25mm). I did have to replace the exhaust because the original one was rosted and welded for many times. It is replaced by a Gianelli front pipe. Yours does have also a replacement exhaust. Can you please tell me which type and how is it doing? (by low/middle/high rpm's). Did you have to change the carburator-settings?
  6. Greetings"'airhead', nice to speak to you again. It is a small world.
  7. We do have a Dutch Yamaha DT-site. www.yamaha-dt.webs.com. In the Netherlands there are two companies which do make exhausts for the DT. In this video you can see both exhausts. The black DT is a 250 with an exhaust made by Fedor Copal. The white 400 do have an exhaust from PS-Tuning. (my white DT125LC do have a Gianelli) PS tuning has a link on our site. Main problem can be a donor-motor. Both exhaust makers do need the DT to make and fit the exhaust. About one month ago Fedor had a DT400 in his workshop. I do not know if the 250 and 400 do have the same exhaust. The white 400 (with another tankreservoir) http://yamaha-dt.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=23106196 The black 250 http://s1000.photobucket.com/albums/af125/yamaha-dt/DT250/?action=view&current=dt250-71.jpg One member of the Dutch site made his own exhaust. http://s1000.photobucket.com/albums/af125/yamaha-dt/DT250/?action=view&current=P1020096.jpg
