  1. Hi, are the diaphragm's ok and is the electrical system ok/charging because if the geny has gone down it will tick over ok for a while but wont rev through for toffee, i did one up last year or the year before you may have seen it here and there on the Internet as ive posted it on a few sites its known as "Captain America" and that did exactly the same as yours is doing before i sorted it and it was the geny that had gone so i replaced that as well as the harness the battery and the reg/rec so i knew it would be spot on, hope this helps some. 2. Hi, thanks for the info but i have already seen these and spoken to the seller about them who sent me some close up pics in an email and they're not very good, i am looking for a set that have been pretty well looked after but thanks anyway. Cuda
  3. Hi guys, i am looking for a pair of complete wheels for a Yamaha V50 with good chrome non rusted rims and also a swing arm, i need these quite quickly as i need the bike finished and on the road as its a present for my daughter so if anyone can help i would very much appreciate it. Thanks Andy
  4. Hi, be very careful you dont allow fuel from the overflowing carb to fill up your crank or you could end up with pre ignition and a bent con rod/knackered top end, the problem has to lie with your floats check they are set properly and this might sound daft but check you have not re fitted them upside down (ive seen this done before) a tell tale sign of the right way up is the little clean needle valve mark on the float tang,(also check the condition of the floats for any holes) while your carb is off again i would also suggest (just to be sure) another in depth check, take out all the jets including the idle jet that sits deep in the recess and clean them all out using a pin/needle the right size so as not to make the jet holes any larger then blow out the carb with an air line before re fitting everything and make sure you ha vent inadvertently turned up the tick over screw to much so it screams it nuts off when you start it
  5. Hi all, really hoping someone can help with this as its a bit of an issue at the moment, a friend of mine is currently building a bit of a one off utilizing a Yamaha TZR125 2RK engine/stator electrics and an imported 4HW CDI unit, now although he has had some success in getting things wired up so its sparking and the YPVS servo is working there is still a black/blue wire that isn't going anywhere which obviously isn't right so as you may have gathered i have been helping him with the wiring side of it and have been on every wiring diagram website there is and must now have every TZR diagram their is to be had with the exception of the one we need so on that note if anyone has a 4HW wiring diagram showing the correct wiring connections i would be very grateful if you could maybe send me a copy?? Thanks guys, Cuda
