  1. Hey all. I am looking to buy gear at the moment. Need some feedback from anyone who has ahd any experiences however insignificant they think they might be with regards to purchasing of motorcycling gear. I went into a dealers yesterday and looked around at some gear. asked the guy there. He recommended the RICHA Ballistic Set of leathers. They look pretty good. This is going to be my first set of gear as i,m starting out. Can anybody recommend or give me examples of what they would go for and why. I,m gonna go for leather for sure. But just in regards to maybe having this gear or knowing someone who has this gear or similar. Would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks all

Hows everyone doing? Started work on my 1992 yammi RXS 100 today. Trying to fix a problem with indicators and horn. Anyway Traced it to the being the relay. Long story short. I removed the seat, removed the petrol tank and to my shock and surprise. I have no relay, well I dont have a round relay, which is what a mechanic in a shope gave me to try out. 2 in fact. one of them with 2 wires and one with 3 wires. I really am stumped, thought that i would have made some progress today but now more confused than ever. Have checked the Haynes manual, round relay corresponds to the pic, what mechanic gave me corresponds to the pic. but yet no relay. Does anybody know if there is another size relay on the RXS 100? I,m totally flummoxed! If anyone can help. I would much appreciate it. Thanks all. Regards

  6. Thaks for the prompt reply. Didnt think it would really be economically viable anyway. 20 yr old bike/first bike and will have it for a minimum of 2yrs. I think at the moment i will just do what i can with the 6V no doubt i,ll be adding more questions in the future regards Tom
  7. Hi all. Wondering if I could get some advice from you all on whether or not it is possible to convert my RXS 6 Volt system to a 12 Volt system. Please advise Appreciate any suggestions or questions. Thanks Regards Tom
  8. Hi I am also having the same problems with my rxs100 (1992). before i went at the bike, some on the indicators worked, but flashed very dim. I had 21w bulbs in front and 12w in back. I changed this to 21w all around on the advice of a local mechanic. when i lefted the seat,i found two earth wires without connectors i.E (bare wires) after fiddling with them and reattaching them, then the indicators do not work at all. headlight still works ok,except for a mix up in intensity of beam( i.E) When dipped is selected,Full Comes on and vice versa) Any Ideas what this could be? p.s My horn does not work either, i think i need a new one. any suggestion much appreciated.
  9. Hi Tony Thank you for your prompt reply. The indicators dont come on at the moment at all. when i first noticed the problem some of the indicators flashed, but very faintly. others not at all. after finding the two bare earth wires and taking them out of their connectors and putting them back in again ( i do not have connector heads for the wires yet) now they will not come on at all. I will follow your instructions and get back to you when i have tried it. Much appreciated. Regards Tom
