  1. found a link to all the schematics you should need for a 360 - http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1976-yamaha-xs360c/o/m8250 Hope it helps
  2. Hey, Greg here from WNY, hoping to meet some people on here that can help educate me on my motorcycle. I have a '77 xs360 that has seen better days, but it still runs and looks pretty good for its age. Clearly been dumped a couple times (before I owned it), and needs some lovin'. I only paid $30 for it, and put maybe $300 into a new battery, cleaning it out, rebuilding the carbs, etc. I love the fact that everything I have personally done to fix this little pony was done using either the tools it came with or my swiss army knife, lol. Anyway, wanted to post on here to say hi to everyone and hope that I can start learning more and someday know enough to help out future noobs on here.
  3. I have a 77 xs360 doing the same thing, and I just put the carbs back on this month after having them professionally cleaned and rebuilt (it was doing this before I cleaned them as well). The idle adjustment screw is in the correct position more-or-less, and the cable is the correct length. My guess is I/we need to tune the "airscrews," though I really don't feel like messing around with something so touchy
