  4. hi i would like some advice please has anyone on here converted a dt 125 lc 6 v electric system to a 12v system or know if this is possible. thanhks in advance patrick

  7. this is the latest pic i have of the mk1 we are restoring the before pic this is the latest pic slowly going back together engine has been rebuilt,new bearings etc.crank has been away and setup now ready to go back in.
  8. sorry i didnt reply,the exhaust on ebay looked like it exited on the right and not the left.ive owned the bike since mid 90s i just pasrked it up in my dads garage so still hv the v5 for it,now time to use it again
  9. hi i just thought i would share some pics of my old dt,me and my m8 are in the progress of getting back on the road. it will be hvn a full engine rebuild new crank bearings ,seals,new big end,conrod lil end piston etc etc.crank is off to pjme for rebuild and set up this week.new black seat cover,new tyres wheel bearings etc.will have new chain and sprockets.stickers removed, hopefully will be a nice bike when complete. these are some pics before we started will hopefully post some more when complete <the crappy old number plate will be going in the bin
  10. thanks for your replys,your right it does seem mad to risk spoling a full rebuild,im going to send it to a place called motolink.has anyone else heard of this or used it.

  12. crank is already split pin removed etc and new bearing to go in just not sure now if i should send it to be balanced tho
  13. thanks for your reply. i already have it stripped out with just the big end bearing to change now, after reading your link im starting to regret it now lol
  14. hi im in the process of restoring a 10v engine in a 1984 dt 125 lc,is there an easy way to change the big end bearing,or can someone please give me info on how to do this.do i need a special tool to do this
