    I wore my new shark speed r today on the motorway and fuck me the wind noise was terrible. I noticed that if I tip my head forward that noise was reduced, its a race spec helmet so I suppose it's designed for a more tucked in position. my old caberg didn't have half the noise. I never wore plugs before but i'm gonna have to start now.

    On a different note the speed r is a brilliant helmet for wind vibrations and shake. it was designed for use on naked bikes.

    I just bought a 18' x 9' steel shed. I put down the concrete base last weekend.

    I will try and erect the shed in the next week.

    I cant wait to finally have a home for my bike/s.

    I will have to insulate it, put up shleves, build a work bench.

    I'm snookered with putting power in though. My fuse board is by my front door and the shed is out the back, it would be a mammoth job to pull a cable from there.

    If you want to pack them in go to your doctor, tell him you want to give up and he will put you on a course of tablets. I cant remember the name. You have to take them over about 3 weeks I think. They were the best thing I ever did, after years of trying this and that. They do something to your brain and make you not want to smoke so the craving is gone so all you have to work on is the phyical habit. They cost me about €100 but they made me pack them in after 18 years.

    The style i do is Doryoku Ryu Karate Jutsu, which i a slight mish mash of Godu and shotokan. Its all old Okinawa mumbo jumbo but its funny when you get the pissed up polish run into the class picking fights with our sensei, she is only 5ft 4 but has a hell of a kick and punch and um she is rather tasty to watch too :P

    You lucky sod, my sensie was a 5'10" wide animal who enjoyed making you suffer. Our chief instructor is a guy called dave hazzard, he was the England kata coach for a spell. Have you heard of him? O I remember the days when you'd get a noob in who thought he was the business........ they usually didn't come back after 1 class. :hah:

    I have a 1st dan black belt in Shotokan karate although I have not been to a class in about 5 years.. Used to teach classes but had to get out because the kids came along. I'm planning on going back soon enough... What style do you practice noise ??

    Whats the story Pat,, did you put it on the long long long finger?? :hyper: Would love to see the finished product.

    Just picked up a little pocket bike today off a mate. It wont start so he just wants rid. :crazy: It's in mint condition so i'm loving it. It probably just needs to cleaned out.
