  1. be aware of the front forks for pitting....it cost me a pretty penny for re chroming.
  2. cheers fellows,i charged the battery up then tried it,and it worked as did the indicators...then ten minutes later they didn t . new battery i think!!
  3. everythings new, the switch the horn and the battery! when i put the indicators on whilst holding the brake,they flash alternately when it s ticking over.
  4. Hello fellow strokers, does anyone know if a dodgy 6v horn is an mot failiure,as i can t get it to work properly! I ve restord the bike with a new battery and new horn,but it just does nt work!!! I know it could be converted to 12v but this surely isn t the answer? help
  5. Hiya pal,i know what you mean,my expansion pipe keeps blowing holes in it and is too thin to repair really,take a look on youtube at DT400,he won t reply but he s got (or made) a first class expansion pipe with modern oval box at the rear,sounds awwwwwwesome!!
  6. Hiya mate,i bought a base off e bay which was knackered and used it a a templateto make a need one,had to use 2mm steel because you ll never be able to corrigate it like the original. But it s bang on this just takes a little time.
  7. IF YOU MEAN THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR, THEN THATS RIGHT,THERE ARE TWO WIRES OF THE LOOM,ONE TO THE REG THE OTHER CLAMPS BEHIND THE FIXING BOLT TO THE BATTERY HOUSING.
