  1. To be honest the whole expansion chamber looks like it could crumble at any point.. do you have an ebay diy job suggestion for that!? I think its around the £150 mark for a new one
  2. Cheers, the wemoto page for 125 sachs has no exhausts so I'm guessing you mean the xv virago page.. well I bought the whole non-chrome part (one that comes out of rear cyclinder) for 40 quid from hong kong, now on it's way. That part had holes all along it! But I still have a small hole in the expansion chamber which is attached to the other exhaust piece (the chromed one), going to be hard to wrap it but it might be the only choice as I can't see it can be welded being so thin..
  3. Hi I have the Sachs 125 Roadster, from diagrams the exhaust system looks identical to the xv 125 and possibly even the 250 XV. I have seen this in ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Virago-XV250-XV-250-Black-Colour-Pipe-Exhaust-2-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem53e4e87546QQitemZ360322725190QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Does anyone know if the xv 250 is the same as the 125? Paul White - Do you happen to know where I can get a replacement exhaust for my roadster? Have checked some usual avenues with no luck..
  4. That's spot on! Thanks for that! So the first image was from the xv250 manual?
  5. Hi Great bit of info there and bookmarking should this happen to me! Where was the ignition wiring diagram from? I have a Sachs Roadster 125 which shares the XV engine, it's playing up at the moment and some comprehensive diagrams like that would come in handy.. thanks
  6. Hi There I have the xv 125 engine in my Sachs Roadster.. The bike's electrics are shorting out somewhere (battery goes flat quickly without use, tingling feeling from metal on bike when other hand on ground) In my troubleshooting I want to know what the 3 wires are coming our at different points of the mikuni carb? Does anyone know? Would be great to find out.. One of them is not attached to it's socket (makes no difference to shorting issue or performance). All in all the performance is shoddy and can't help but think the shorting issue is sucking some power out of the sparks and could have something to do with it.. (along with hole in exhaust which I'm sorting out!) Any help appreciated, Thanks
  7. Hmmm I thought that the carb would be the same as on the 125 XVS?
  8. Hello New here (bit of a bike newbie also) just bought a Sachs Roadster 125. Seeign as there is no other forum I have seen coming close to these bikes, I thought I'de join this one as a few other people seem to own the same bike! I was leaning the bike while stationery a bit further than you would normally and petrol dripped out of my carb from the point in the picture: Probably nothing to worry about but just thought I'de check! This on the left side of the bike. Also - whoever is reading this who has got the Roadster 125, have you tried removing this fuel filter, valve thingy majiggy if so did you notice a difference and where did you find it!! Cheers in advance.. Will
