  1. deffo yb100e, i have the yb100p was was only made from 76-78 mines the 76, good simple bike to work with and spares everywhere wemoto and ebay being your best bets for parts, allthough i though the rear suspension on yours are from the p range and not the e so either im wrong or you have the wrng rear suspension. im probably wrong, not too many of these laying around most people stripped down yb's to tune their fs1e's as they are the same in many ways.
  2. i just bought one of these yesterday a 1976 model i noticed something simular mate. i hit 50 and it seemed to slow down to about 40-45mph it should do a good 65 by my reconing. but im just learning the bike at the moment so i could be doing something wrong, my last bike was an rxs and it did this but with an engine rattle, turned out it was the woodruff key well i took the baffle out the exhaust and now\ i have alot more power
  3. i have a 1989 rxs100 i love it, ok its small and looks like a box with 2 wheels. but dont underestimate it at all. i did when i got it i thought 100cc its gonna be slow, 20 years old its gonna be slow everthing about it looked slow. so me being convinced it was a peice of crap full revved it to take off, and take off it what it did it wheelied off and left me on the floor. its knackered and needs alot of work now but i aint gonna get anything else ever again. it will easily hit 80mph i reckon it will do more but i dont wanna push my luck. ok at first its a pain checking oile all the time, guessing how long your petrol will last. but if well looked after and in mint condition its worth a tidy sum. i would strongly suggest you get yourself a spark plug spanner and allways keep a spare spark plug on you its allways the last thing you suspect when it dies but is most likely the problem and if anything like mine then your plug will go quite often. mine is garaged at the moment and in desperate need of a rebore but she will be back to life very soon.
  4. lol my rxs is unrelyable as hell i allways carry a sparkplug and spanner with me everywhere, i seem to get through a spark plug a month. however i wouldnt trade it for the world its unmodified and can comfortably hit 80mph. i rode a new 4 stroke prior to this but now i think 2 strokes are so much better, easy to work on as the engines are so simple.
