Hi all, lookin at buying a DT125 but its a field bike atm, was wondering how much it would cost to make it road legal (lights/registration etc.) The bike itself is £400 and i didnt want to go much over £500, is it possible?! Any help?! :D

i didnt my m8 did lol, but any way he said he didnt want to start taking things off (spark plug :s). any ways thanks for the help but he had it picked up today and the garage is going to try and repair it :/ ah well.

do you have the wiring diagram for the bike? there are probably more fuses some where, the lights can work without a battery when the engine is running, but they will be crap, and the speedo will work too. when you say you added a new switch, what did you add? or did you just replace one? also, did the bike break after you added/fitted the switch?

remember to shoulder check every time you pull away, and always pull away with your left foot down, u get done for not being able to use both brakes when u pull away cause apparently you have less control :/ and when u pull over behind a parked car, put the bike back in gear before you indicate out or youll get a minor or a fail for slowing down other road users good luck

he put in new rollers which came with the exhaust. and yeh i did mention to him it could need a rejet. might ask him to try a plug chop, just to make sure...if the plugs black is too much petrol, white is not enough?

Hey all, A friend of mine has an Aerox 50, 59 plates. recently put on a Doppler SR3 exhaust and its just broken down, I took it for a spin down the road and it was fine for the first 30 meters or so and then just slowed right down, 10 miles an hour over revving and going nowhere. plenty of petrol, plenty of 2stroke.. any ideas?

lol, can you get those bikes for good prices and if so what sort of prices? i need something to do 20 miles a day (ten miles each way) and dont really have too much to spend but the ybr is a little crap for getting past any one doing over 40 i dont mind having a bike with poor cosmetics as long as i can find a good solid engine which will run

Hi all, Currently got myself a ybr125 and looking forsomething a little bigger when i pass my test next month (fingers crossed ) i have been checking ebay and found things like GS500's CB500's ZR550's etc... basically a big commuter style bike like the ybr. they all seem to be going on ebay for a decent looking bike for £600-1200 BUT will they actually work or am i going to ride one half way home and be on the phone to the AA? Any one got any helps? or know where i can get a decent one cheap? :D Cheers.

I have an '09 YBR125 and have been trying to look up ways of making it go a little faster.i can get 60mph out of it but if i end up stuck behind a car at 45mph theres never enough accelleration to overtake and where i live you can get stuck behind car for ten miles not really any fun. One of my friends suggested a new CDI but i have no idea where to get one and how much difference it would make any helps?
