That's not good at all mate, maybe it's time for a new battery? Seems as though the bike is running as if there were no battery at all.

Just got my DEP silencer today but I went to fit it and I noticed it's not supplied with any holders or anything so it's rather loose at the point where it should attach to the front pipe... I then removed the clip from the stock silencer (which was annoying welded on ) but it's far too big for the DEP silencer. I've heard of people using the stock front pipe and DEP silencer, but I've never read about any fitting issues... Can anyone help? Don't wanna have to bodge it as I know 2-stroke engines rely on the exhaust heavily for power so air leaks are a big no-no. Cheers.

Maybe it's still restricted? Check out dtr125.net for info on making it faster. My 2007 DT did 65mph when it was all stock, then I earthed a wire behind the speedo and it rocketed (literally, in terms of performance gain) up to 76mph and that's 1 of the many restrictors! Removing them all and changing sprockets can result in daft top speeds of 100mph+ http://dtr125.net/tuningnewer.htm

Yup... only because I have a shitty P-reg Fiesta though, otherwise if I had a nicer car I might not care so much. I feel safer and happier on a bike for some reason... just the feeling of freedom I love it.

After doing that mod on my DTR my top speed increased by 11mph and the acceleration was a hell of a lot better (not that it was bad to begin with) - so yes, it does a hell of a lot!!! probably the best and easiest mod you could do.
