  1. I've only seen the pictures as I've posted in here. But seems like the blue one only is missing the seat, but time will tell, when the bikes are home the 4. of september or maybe the 6. of september, work is taking most of my time. But it's right, do I get one running, the effort and money will be well given out, but 2 would be better
  2. I've just bought 3 XS500's for about 500$, I don't know if it's too much money, but for now I think the winter will be over soon, when I start to get them build together again, they are all laying in boxes only one is part fittet together again, but I have to dismantle it, so the bike gets a new start. My son did se the pictures of the bikes and his comment was: That's no bike it has no seat and is ugly. This is the one I showed him. I didn't dare to show him this one.
  3. I did look in classic, as I've done many times now, the section helped me with the carbs and other things, but in classics I can't find any sticky; I do only find Important topics and Forum topics, but that could be Firefox since I don't use IE. But thanks for the link, now I know what to look for. By the way, the exuast's will be made in stainless steel and polished, but not the silencer's, they are way to expensive where I live
  4. This is my little xs400 Seca and I'm very fond of it If I find the silencers I think will look best on it, I will change the 2in1 into 1in1 on each side. But I also would like to change the fork, I've been looking at some XS models (XS500 to 650) with double frontbrake's, my question is: Will the fork fit for my Seca or should I forget about it. Thanks for a great site.
  5. This is not a question, but a little hint to repair the side covers, I've just tried it and it works. I've just repaired some serious craks on my sidecover this way. I did put some Acetone in a glas jar, after that i did put some lego bricks there in, after they were meltet, I just put the sticky stuff in the craks and sured there was pressure on the cover, put a little extra on the backside to make it a bit more strong. I've got this advise from a friend and it works. I've just tried to use the same way to glue a broken tap on the same cover, tomorrow I will know if that worked, as good as the other repair did. And now I can say: It worked on that too. I hope someone can use this cheap advise.

I've finaly solved the problem, I found the green and brown wires in the headlight casing and the flasher relay was in the frame, just right over the engine it was impossible to see. I did find it because I did place a new relay/new wires and then the original one did make some noise. I say thank you for the welcome in this forum and it will be used a lot, that I can promise Tomorrow at 7.30 in the morning, I'm going to see if I can get number plates for the bike, because I think it should be ready for it.
  7. I've just bought this very nice motorbike, but I have a problem I just need help to solve. I could understand, that only the flash light indicators didn't flash when I used the signal to turn, since the flashlights in the rear wasn't there, so yesterday I did start looking for the flasher relay and the wires, so I could get 4 new flash lights on the motorbike. But I couldn't find the relay and there was only the small wires on the front flash lights, with no connection at all, I think that the flasher relay should be seatet under the the fueltank, because I found an old rubber holder there, but I'm not sure at all. I've been looking on several wire diagrams, but not something I could realy understand. So my question is: Is there wires from the flash light indicator (right/left), that should go to the flasher relay and if there is, what colours should I be looking for. Sorry for my spelling, but I'm from denmark.
