  1. Hi and welcome. Start a thread in the workshop and describe what's wrong - photos help a lot.
  2. I've an LG smart 3d TV - very impressed but I still haven't worked out all the bits and have never watched anything on 3d. The Magic Mouse controller thing is ace though!
  3. I would recommend the stormex cover. You could also look at motorcycle tents. I used to keep a bike under a cover but use a tent for one of them now. For me it saves the hassle of dragging it into the workshop.
  4. Ahhhh........ the Yamaha anti rollback widget.

When you open it, click on the forum you want - if you have more than one. Click "forum" at the bottom of the page. Click "timeline" this should then list posts newest first. If you aren't on timeline click the 3 horizontal bars on the top left and then timeline. The 3 horizontal bars allow you different options and the page will return results depending on which you pick. The general forum one is rubbish but timeline, unread convos etc are quite good. In my humble....

    Free Windows 10

Plus they are trying to reduce the old systems support. XP hasn't been supported for over a year (the NHS brought an addition year of support for a lot of money as most of their systems used it). Converting windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users to 10 for free means that MS and developers will be able to just focus on 10 functionality. 10 is supposed to be able to be used on all gadgets so PCs, tablets and phones so people who "fully convert" may see a lot of the same functions on different pieces of kit they may own. I quite like 8.1 but XP and win 98 were my 2 favourites.

Once you get your head around it, it's quite good. I tend to use the timeline function. Just remember to turn off the tapatalk strap line otherwise it adds it to your posts it every time you post something.
  8. I don't think he did. I am guessing that Kevtherev posted some personal, to him, info - maybe his email or phone number so you could contact him for help. Cynic would have removed it so people can't spam him.
  9. Given the growing quantity of workshop questions appearing in the Bar section, I thought I would bump this thread as a reminder.
  10. Is the bird or a hedgehog? Hedgehogs can sound like a pig snorting or someone snoring.
  11. I have always liked swintons. I think they started off as uni insurers. I have had my main bike mostly insured with them over the years but this year they were too expensive by far.

    Nuts and such.

http://www.charnwoodfasteners.co.uk/ or http://www.mrmegapack.co.uk/ or just buckets of assorted from fleabay.
  13. And the smell, don't forget the smell.......... My other half says I stink when I ride the strokers. It could be the oil; or it could be the smell of fear!!
  14. Hi and welcome to the forum. Dont forget to say hello in the new members section. There are loads of patten parts available for the YB100 Most sold via US fleabay and made in Thiland. Here are a couple of examples: Seat LINKY Mudguard LINKY
  15. More of a workshop question than a hello! New bikes turn the lights on automatically. Daylight running laws, so there may be no off switch. Depends on the year.
  16. 15 minutes for me in sunny Loughborough. The only time I have been there is for a Monsters of Rock weekend and that was back in the dark ages when I lived in the south and had hair.
  17. Bloody 2 strokes. Who would want one! As Drewps said - it could have been a lot worse.
  18. No, in my opinion. If you want to go faster buy more cc's.
  19. Well said Jimmy about the first bit. As for an eye test, if you can't see a bus in broadside view, no visit to specsavers is ever going to help!
  20. The bikesure agreed value policies are a little painful to get going. Multi bike is even more so as they always seem to forget to send you the cert for the second bike. I do have to say that their system for old NCB is good. I could just scan my letter through and upload it direct to the bikesure site.

    Ghost Tax

I thought the same however, now I think it is a good idea. Here is my logic; Given that the average length of vehicle ownership is 18 months and it is only one part of a month across vehicle ownership then the actual "loss" isn't that great. The biggest winner for me is the fact that it now forces people who buy a vehicle to either go untaxed or buy tax - and you can't do that without insurance and MOT (if required). You also heed to register the sale. Yes, there are some ways of semi dodging this but if you do, some of your details will be recorded somewhere. It will reduce the number of people motoring without the correct paperwork.
