I have had a similar problem, finally figured it out with help from Haynes 100,125, & 175 trail bikes manual. The dt manual doesnt mention it but the DT 125 and 175 G, H us models have a 5 wire magneto (or stator) that goes to a 6 wire cdi unit. I had the 5 wire magneto and a 7 wire cdi, WTF that was confusing me for more than a year. Of course I had given up and left it alone for months at a time. Does anyone know where I can get a 6 wire cdi????

Hey do you still have the 6 wire cdi? I have a 7 wire cdi and need a 6. Lets make a trade.
