  1. I JUST LIKE THE HEADLIGHTS SO I BOUGHT ONE.
  2. Of course it might just be those awful standard fit Dunlops, couldnt wait to wear 'em out on me R1...
  3. Had one of these ol' dinosaurs years ago, loved it, get a pillion cowl for it though.
  4. I KNOW I'M NEW TO TRAFFIC DIVISION BUT THIS CANT BE RIGHT?
  5. Knock her off then give it some AIRWAY BREATHING CIRCULATION!!! Knock her off then give it some AIRWAY BREATHING CIRCULATION!!!
  6. Comrades, T K Cope Motorcycles (Colchester 01206 574765) where I bought my bike, are organising a trip through the following countries: France, Belgium, Holland, Germany (Black Forest), Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Italy (Alps). Did I get 'em all in the right order! Dates are 8th June to 15th, accommodation is either Best Western or Holiday Inn hotels, also on the menu are Kayaking or cable car rides if you wish. Cost depending on date you book is around the £400 mark, two to a room (fingers crossed I dont share with a Suzuki rider or worse!!! 28 places originally available, call the above number of check their web address. Stoppies, wheelies and wheelspins rule..............Tom.

Am I the only one that gets roasted nuts after a motorway run in summer? I got so hot in the south of France I had to stand on the pegs and get some 'aircooling' Yep, they're ok in the winter though.

    Rim trims

Gotta tell ya I fitted same yesterday, red front and rear, they look the dogs nuts and all for only £6; are we sad or what!! Took me about 2 hours though cos you gotta get em as straight as poss'.........Tom.
  9. Hi, I got the same bike, same colour, the wheels are a bit boring arent they. I have just fitted red pinstripes, looks bloody brilliant for £6. A bike tuner told me never to powder coat my wheels as he saw a wheel lose a 4" chunk of rim, yamaha UK told him it was down to the heat treatment the wheel went through!! I'm thinking of spraying the wheel centres red to match the bike now; do you have the paint number?

    Need Help

Hi, I set mine to 100MPH so I know when I am up for a 'ban', if you still need the sequence I'll mail it to you as it's a bit of a drawn out affair to describe if you already have it...Tom.
  11. I have just been to the London bike show, most pipes now come with removable baffles, I would go for something with the biggest diameter tailpipe bore, something that makes the loudest noise, I think 180BHP should be enough for anyone; mine sounds sexy with its standard pipes!!!!
  12. Hi, has anyone had experience of racing tyres on their road bike, I have just fitted a pair of Metzeler Racetec's to my YZF1000, it appears that the rear profile is more convex than standard as it almost contacts the front of the swingarm, I had to pack the hugger I fitted too as that was rubbing on the centre of the tyre. As the weather is icy at present I have not been able to get a proper feel for the tyres or compare the grip, I do know that the rear will spin out over large metal drain covers though!! Anyones experiences please?
