    Tank sticker

Dear all, I'm sure this is embedded in another post somewhere but looked long and hard and couldn't find it. I know people have had problems removing the tank sticker on bikes and today I removed my own in about 10 mins with no residue left. I thought i'd leave a post for any others that are having trouble. 1) Get a hair dryer and heat the sticker starting on one corner. Once hot(ish) start peeling. Be aware the glue will remain on the tank.....this is normal. Keep heating the sticker and pulling so that the white piece comes off in one. 2) This is the annoying bit. Starting on the edges and working into the middle keep heating the glue with the hair dryer and using your fingers/thumbs rub/roll the glue into the centre. Once there's enough to grab hold of simply pull it off. 3) Once you've got rid of most of the glue get a damp cloth and spray a small amount of WD40 on the glue and rub it off. Rinse the cloth and continue until all the glue has gone then simply buff and voila......a clean tank ready for a tank pad. Hope this helps. Foxy
  5. Welcome to the site mate. Happy riding Foxy
  6. Hi all, Thought I let you all know about a good find that i've had. If anyones after a new set of leathers for the summer i'd try Cissbury Leathers in Findon, West Sussex. I've just got hold of a brand new RST race suit for £200. Granted it's last years model but who cares right?????? They were £400 last year and i've looked all over the net and the closet thing to them is £300. They've got various colours. Also got a pair of RST GP race gloves for £42 (reduced from £70ish). Interested...... it's www.cissburyleathers.co.uk Cheers, Foxy

Less of the old as i'm only 32 but I do have more grey hair now than black, hence the "silver" . I was never gonna even contemplate getting it without. I'll never understand why they designed it like that in the first place??????

Hello all, Just joined the site after purchasing my 2009 R6 last week. It should be ready for collection after they fit the alarm and R&G tail tidy (obligatory purchase). Then all I need to do is bed the motor in and i'll be ready for the summer. I'm dying to get other bits for the bike but fear a divorce will come after it took me 2 years to convince the wife that I NEEDED a brand new bike. Stay safe, Foxy
