MT-06 all the way great ride but not the fastest in the world hears myn

defo my MT-03 because its my first bike and handles briliantly

Well i dont have a license yet so i dont realy know but what my dad sead was it has plenty of grunt but low on the top end speed bout 110mph and fule consumption is £9 a tank and does about 100 miles around about it has a motorcros gear box so only has 5gears but it pulls realy well in 2nd to 4th gear and the single cylinder sound is great and realy beefy and loud mum just sead its about as powerful and a SV650s so it quite good any more info and i can ask

ye i think i would keep them company but i wouldent try and stop the bleeding i would prob's be sick just the feal of it And some of the questions are funny like asking you what condition does a man with a stick with a red stripe on it have i was like what i realy dont think a blind,def man would be crossing the road as it sead thats what he was doing just seemd like a rip off to me for £30 :/

just took my theory and passed what i dont get is if some one is injured on the road im not going to do any first aid on them because im not a firstaider and can be held reliable for any further injuries so i think them asking you all these questions about what you should do is stupid :/ any one else agree ?

Hi im thinking about geting the Roof boxer V i realy like the looks and passed the higest standard of testing so thats no issue im just wondering what are your thorght 's and i wont be doing long trips in it but will be doing some contry road riding and town riding for motorways i will just use my AGV demon Vent top will be geting this in gloss black RRP of £250 and i can get it for £140 new i think it sort of fits my MT-03 realy well

haha i hoped some on wouldent ask u will be horrifide well at this verry moment it will cost me £1600 fully comp with my mum on it as well with all the extras like break down helmet leathers legal help personal injury cover but in 2 month's time it comes down to £1100 with evory thing and with pillion use added on as well then after 6months i will be about £700 aparently so you could say its expensif but beats buying me a bike and my mum a bike then insuring my on my own (verry expensif) so all in all workes out about £1000 cheaper than me and mum having our own bikes

i will take a guess at about 160mph ish not sure the 2001 zx6r can do 155mph so because of the newer tech i would guess at 160mph as i sead

thanks for the reply well its cable restricted so basicly carnt pull the throttal all the way back but i think i will get it removed after a year or so like most people do but it all dipends on how well it preforms and i was thinking about geting a k& filter for it just to give it a bit more umphhhh but will do that after its restricted how much bhp do air filters add any way i got like a extra 1.5bhp when i put one on my 50cc (3bhp stock 6.4 after i had finished with it lol ,exhaust,upjeted,airfilter fully derestricted 55-60mph top speed did all the work my self)

KTM super duke not exactly the same but a great bike or if its yamaha ure after then i would say xt660x

Chears both and ye but carnt aford the exhaust atm lol and i will be geting a new bike after my 2 year restriction any way ( posibly a Super duke 990) if i can aford one and the MT will be transferd over to my mums name. and i think its plenty power full enough for me atm (unrestricted) lol got the front up in second gear buy accident and my mum nearly had a heart attack but my dad was like now thats how its done

Na you can do it but just a catogory A1 license i think all that enables me to do is ride any bike thats 33bhp or less so it needs to be restricted unfortunatly for 2 years but after those 2 years i can have any thing i also have to do a 125cc starter day just to make sure im good enough for the 3 day corse then and abviously if i pass my theory test.I think it was also somthing to do with me allready having my CBT as well for almoast a year. so i have a buissy month ahead (theory test 1st april, then tester day any time up till 13th april then 3 day traning from 13th april (15th latest) and then my test the weak later :S) all a bit daunting realy. and the MT is definatly a step up from a gilera DNA 50cc but did have a 250cc manual quad befor

Right well i have just goten my MT 03 660cc at this current moment it prduces 48bhp but buy law because i will be 17 when i pass my test it needs to be restricted to 33bhp now what i want to know are the folowing 1. what will be power be like after restriction 2. how is the restriction aplied 3. how could i get away without haveing it restricted 4. how will the allready small top speed be afected the only reson i need to know is because its shared use the bike is myn but my mum will be riding it as well and will need to keep up with my dad on his XT660X. And i do have quite a bit of experiance with bikes and quads and all things powerd so i now im capable of handeling the bike as it is so thats not an issue to me any sugestion would be apriciated thanks

Ye i thorght about heated grips but its the front of my hands that get cold so i thorght will just go with wind shields and ye i have never been on a bike with them on but have been on some of my dads bike's with scorpion cans on (all race versions not road lol) the best sounding was his zx6r but his R6 just sounded winey and his fazer 1000 had a verry nice sound but sounded a bit to high pitched in my oppinion . i have a leo vince exhaust on my 50cc and its gone verry rusty would this hapen with there exhausts for the MT do you think ?? thanks

ohh right kwl and ye it is loud when ure on it but not realy when your next to it just wanted to see how beefy it would sound lol

Ye they are im going to get the wind gards for them because they are cheeper than heated grips and ye they do look good but i do want some akrapovics but they are £600 so a bit much lol

can i remove my baffels from the stock MT-03 exhaust ?? not sure if its posible at all and would this do any thing apart from make it louder thanks

Hi well i got my first proper bike at the weekend it a 06' Mt-03 and i thorght i would just share some pics with you. The most anoying thing is i carnt ride it for another 4-5 weeks because im not 17 yet so carnt start my 3day crash corse until the 13'th of april but i should have my licens withing 2 weeks of that date i have riden the bike and love it and i think it look good with all the things that have been done to it moddifications : .carbon rear seat conversion .fly screen .side radiator covers (carbon) .Carbon bellypan .handel bar crash sliders .Mat black paint job and will soon have some handelbar wind deflectors so hear she is comments welcome sorry about spelling im Dislexic
