  1. Hello again Project FZR 400 now has a rolling chassis. Red powder coated frame and wheels with Battlax tyres, black powder coated fork stantions, polished braced swinging arm. I'm dropping the engine in at the weekend. Does any body run the FZR 400 without a fairing? What headlamp? Can I get rid of the indicators I don't want a street-fighter look, more muscle-bike. Any suggestions would be grateful. Thanks Nigel
  2. I've just purchased this braced swinging arm off ebollox. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=370167362300 The bike I have is a 1WG, I can't seem to figure out how to fit the tension bar as there is no bracket to secure it to. I was assured it would fit a 1WG Has anyone got any ideas as the guy who listed the item hasn't replied to me. Have I been 'had over'?

Yes I have, but I'm not allowed to post anything 'Wanted' until I've posted 15 times myself (12 now)

It is the actual pump, it's smashed the cover and the body, it's been epoxyed back together and I wouldn't have seen it when I bought the bike because of the spocket cover. As for a photo I'm on the case. Thanks

Hello everybody, Gravesone here. I've just got myself a FZR400 WG1 Genesis on a 86' plate, which I'm in the process of stripping down and bringing it back to it's former glory. I haven't had a Jap bike for over 30 years, my last one was an RD250. I'll be needing quite a bit of help and advice on the refurb. Your help will be much appreciated. By the time it's finished (12 months approx) it will take on a 'Stevie Baker' colour scheme. The previous owner has had the chain 'hand grenade' on him smashing the water-pump, I've had a quote for £241 direct from Japan , does anybody know anywhere I stand a chance of getting one? The whole bike didn't cost much more than that. See you on the Forum
