  1. Ha ha. I'm old enough to ride a "real" bike. Did my cbt on a er6. Just can't afford to do my test at the moment because I'm buying a house. Smart ass. Just kidding about the "smart ass"
  2. what do you think, i think it looks the nuts!!! love to get my hands on one.
  3. i dont agree with that, i can sit there thinking my tyres are as good as glue but the ass end still slides about in the wet. i can understand beeing a bit more cautious because i have been told they are not good, but it doesnt change the fact that it is not as good in the wet as my previous bike.
  4. i wonder if the government could work on making non slip road markings and man-hole covers. that would be a better use of their time i think. instead of thinking of other ways to make us spend our hard earned cash on "compulsory" safty measures.
  5. no, i dont ride in the wet the same as i do in the dry. i have been riding for quite a long time and know the difference the wet makes to the way you ride. the standard tyres that come on the yzf125 arent great in the wet. the bike mcn have got for there long term test has had the same trouble in the wet and they have actually changed the tyres and has made a large difference. i was just wondering if anyone had also changed their tyres and if so, which tyres did they go for. as i cant remember which ones mcn changed to.
  6. Yeah I agree with what you are saying. The main damage is a big chunk of plastic missing around the headlights.
  7. I was only going to replace the panels that can't be repaired and keep most of the panels.
  8. Anyone else having trouble with the tyres on the r125 in the wet. I actually slid my bike down the road in the damp(which was nice just before Christmas).
  9. had a slight spill on my r 125 and is gonna cost me near on a grand to replace all the panels on the left side and top of tank. but as only 2 panals are actually broken and rest just a bit scratched up i thought i may be cheaper to just replace the broken panels and then have it all sprayed. if i do end up getting it sprayed i thought i would go for the 2009 fiat paint job (might as well ay). anyone have any idea what sort of price i would be looking at. obviously if its cheaper to replace all panels then i will do that.
  10. i grew up around bikes, my dad always used to take me to junior school on the back of his gsx r 750. never had any problems and i used to love it.
