Flow from tank seems good, as does flow thru in-line fuel filter. prob silly question, but what reading should i be looking for? electrics aren't my strong point, more used to working on a 1934 Velocette which is a lot more basic!!!

Hi all! Bike still sitting in bits cos i've been dying with man-flu since my last run out when bike was still misbehaving again. Heres one for the hardcore among us... I bought a voltage regulator off fleabay for my FZR, old was is on the fritz. New one is shown in pic. but there are a few characters different compared to the original Old one reads:- 47X-A2 SH569A-12 T4.D 261 Anyone know what the difference is? Will this one work ok or could this be part of the cause of my ongoing problems? The listing def stated that item was from an early 90's FZR600.

Ohhh, you're brave! lol I believe there is no such thing as a typical biker, we're all individual. I'm 30, been riding bikes since the age of 6, going pillion with my Dad from shortly after. Though i ride a sports bike everyday, my taste extends into just about every field from custom to vintage. Other bikes I ride range from a BMW R1100RS to a BSA Bantam D7 or even a 1934 Velocette 250cc!!! People think old bikes only appeal to old blokes!!
