  1. That will be a no mate! They should have an area for bikes and it is free,if you had a ticket youve got no where to stick it and some t**t would nick it!

Prob a bit late but I have a TW and my insurance is £120 f.c but I have 4 yrs no claims and I'm 31, but you've probably sorted it now!

    Crazy Swedish!

What a shame she didnt kill herself selfish bitch,i hope shes in agony and her sister.
  4. You go girl! hi and welcome!!
  5. Can i ask you olgitonabike what you used on the exhaust? I used back to black which was recommended off a friend and it more or less burnt off within a week! it was left to dry properly!!
  6. Whoa guys getting pretty hot in this debate! I would like to say thank you though as i did used to spray WD-40 on my chain instead of chain lube ooops! I dont really know my stuff on bikes unlike you lot( im learning and thats one reason why im on here and to ask advice). I have just had a new chain on my Yam TW please tell me how to keep it clean and lubed? I ride my bike nearly everyday and i have horses so it gets covered in mud, water etc and its impossible for it to stay clean,it ends up with a black layer of crap that sticks to the lube and is really greasy, also which chain lube is best? thanks!
  7. yay im not the only one thats a cbt pro lol! doing my 3rd cbt in oct, may consider doing my full test tho coz its a pain in the arse! Welcome anywa!!
  8. I have to agree that 2 or even 3 pairs is def best especially with the wonderfull summer we are supposed to be having/had! Its always a good idea to have spare everything coz when its pissing down (like everyday this week) its not nice pulling on wet things especially gloves yuk! I prefer thick gloves with good protection although im riding in a summer pair at the mo but its personal preferance really,as long as you feel comfortable and in control of your clutch and brake, thicker gloves do take abit of getting used to but are well worth it when its colder and you dont have to spend a lot of money on them as they all do the same job ,my buffalo gloves cost me a tenner and are mint! there warm, pretty waterproof and have protection
  9. Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of biking! I did my first cbt nearly 6yrs ago and wondered why the hell i didn't do it sooner! just a pain in the ass you have to retake it every 2 yrs ( all the biker pros will be cringing coz i havent done my full test lol)
  10. Got my bike back yest, really pleased! cost £220 altogether, def worth shopping around yourself, saved me £200 so thanks!
  11. Nothing wrong with hi-viz dude! Rave's made em cool! I wear mine so i can be seen and so car drivers can't say "oh i didn't see you"!!
  12. Thanks guys great help, its a one part,i knew it was knackered as it was starting to sound like a boy race's car exhaust! bikebreakers is great! got one ordered i just hope its ok but the chap sounded genuine so we'll see....
  13. An American calling us Brits crazy! lol! We have fun but like having skin too! My friend came off his bikewearing jeans and trainers (or sneakers) skidded down the road on his side ripped his jeans to ribbons and his skin he had stitches all down one side and on his feet were his sneaker/trainer flew off and had to have the tarmac removed from his cuts umm each to their own but i think the point is we have fun but have respect for what we ride and what can happen instead of looking `cool`.
  14. It might be more expensive than i thought my garage looked at my exhaust and said it is in a bad state,i also need a new chain and new exhaust for it to pass its mot and its going to cost me £400 in total inc mot and labour, seems a bit steep!
