  1. Hi guys hope someone can advise me. I have a 6 month old majesty 400 on a ride to work in the cold the other day it took on a mind of it's own and when you shut off the throttle an decelerated it was ok down to about 2500 revs about 25mph then ACCELERATED moderatley up to 3000revs then back down to 2500...etc. At other road speeds it seemed ok and at the end of the ride the engine management light lit up just as I arrived at work. It actually climbed the small 50 metre hill outside the workplace on its own!! It behaved the same hot or cold. After work the bike seemed fine with just a littlle hesitancy in decelerating once again at 2500. It seemed to hold it's speed for about 5 secs or so before continuing to decelerate. Since then it doesn't seem to 'slow down' with the throttle off as it used to (ie engine braking) & I seem to be using the brakes alot more. I was curious if a 'sensor' had developed a fault and figured the fitter could plug in a computer gadget to detect the fault (as the managment light had lit) but he says no!! Any ideas? thanks guys
  2. Hi Mickey...that's tough but hey no worries. This happened to my old m/c years ago...nip down to your local car parts shop and get 'petrol tank putty' it really does work but it will have to be clean and DRY first. Good luck

  4. I've picked up my new yammy majesty 400 last month, I love the bike but....from new it has had this little buzzing plastic sort of noise coming from what I thought was a panel. It has got a little worse now and I have tried to find it without any luck. It seems to be coming from behind the clocks..... Anyone else had experience of this? Cheers
  5. SM....that was a mad photo
  6. hi guys Just got this bike to replace my x-max 250.....How in hells name do you manage to ride this thing at 4000rpm (45-50mph) during the run-in period? It's like pulling teeth, can't wait to get the first 600 miles on it!! On the up side it is doing 80 mpg
