I have already riden motocross bikes, did that for a couple of years and now I ride 125 pit bikes..nothing special but a quick little bike for the race paddocks!

Problem with getting a bigger bike is the insurance, I can't seem to find any bike insurance that other bikes see reasonable. Any ideas on insurers?

Micron sell a pretty nice looking exhaust for the r125.

I don't NEED anything, it's more what I WANT. I usually go for looks with cars and bikes, performance is definatley always a good thing too. I want to get an R6 at some point..why do you reckon that's a bad move?

Hmmm..if I were to get a 400-600 then I'd have to get an R6, I love the superbike look. But what would insurance be like on a restricted 600? Best I got quoted for the r125 was £700.

I daren't get anything bigger.. I'm not meant to be 'allowed' a bike so thinking something smaller might have been a better idea..

YZF R125, RS125, or RS250? Getting my first bike early next year (I know that's ages away ) but not sure what to go for. Love the R125 but the noise it makes seems a bit pony..on the other hand not really been a fan of the screaming 2 strokes. Will probably be trekking the 65 miles I one way to work fairly often so need something capable of that and seeing as most of that trip is A14 I could do with something that won't dawdle. Also will need something reliable. Does anyone have any views or suggestions?

I'm taking my test early next month but won't be buying my bike until next year.. but I'm having trouble deciding what to get. My mind was firmly set of getting the R125 but some of my friends have said to get something bigger and restrict it and others have said stick with a small bike. I'll probably be doing a bit of traveling on it..work is 65 miles from where I live and is mostly duel carriageway and a bit of back roads. Being only 5'4" I need to find something I will be able to reach the floor on!!! I love the look of the R125 but the engine sound is a little disappointing from what I've heard so far.. And with the Aprilias..well I haven't ever really been a fan of the fact they scream their heads off! Does anybody have any opinions or ideas?
