  1. well i am very sorry if you think that i am shouting if i typed with the caps lock on. i was not shouting i was typing, see it as you want, but i was just avin my say. anyway like i said, if you can get 75 out of it blah blah. but you aren't exactly big. 11 stone is quite small regardless of your hight. to be honest it seemed as though you were shouting at me more than i was sposed to be shouting. lol never mind i didnt mean anything, i just didnt realise. appologies to all for my behaviour in shouting capital letters. but as i was sayin, ive never known anyone else to get that speed out of one, but thats because i never spoke to anyone who rides one who is only 11 stone. hence thats why you were able to get such a speed.
  2. TRY THIS LINK FOR THESE EXHAUSTS I FOUND, IF YOU GET THEM, LET ME KNOW IF THEY ARE ANY GOOD, COZ I WANNA CHANGE MY DENTED ONES. https://www.madproducts.com/product_detail.php/1398/
  3. WELL IF YOU CAN GET 75 OUT OF IT YOU MUST WEIGH ABOUT 6 STONE. HOWEVER I HAVE MANAGED 65 ON MINE BUT I'M 6FT2 AND QUITE A BIG BLOKE. YOU MAY NOTICE A DIFFERENCE IF YOU FIT A SCREEN IF YOU HAVENT GOT ONE ALREADY. MAD.CO.UK OR MOTORCYCLE ACCESORIES DIRECT DO A SET OF NICE PIPES FOR IT MADE BY LEDRIE I THINK, THEY ARE NICE SLASH PIPES FOR ABOUT 180 QUID.I WILL POST A LINK. THE HIGHWAY HAWK ONES THAT MOST PEOPLE FIT ARE ALSO SLASH PIPES, BUT THEY ARE 288 QUID, YOU CAN GET THEM FROM 1066.COM. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO INCREASE YOUR HORSES BY ABOUT 3 OR 4 BHP BUT THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OTHER ONES TO ME.....
  4. i have a dragstar xvs 125 and was wondering has anyone ever pulled the engine out and upgraded it to a bigger one. does anyone know if it is possible for a start. i have a dream, after seeing the bobber bikes in BSH magazine, was wondering if anyone has bobbed or chopped an xvs 125. if you have i would be interested in speaking to you. i hope this is not too much of a stupid idea, but i love the bike...
  5. hi just picked up your message about the xvs sissy bar, are you still getting rid of it email me at: [email protected] cheers
  6. hi does anyone know where the cheapest place to get a sissy bar for my xvs 125 is. Also i have seen some adverts saying that the xvs1100 sissy bar will fit the xvs 125!!!? does anyone know if this is true..... cheers
  7. hi thought id check out these indians, and yep, harley looks a bit of a rip off of the origional
  8. hi i found that highway hawk do some fat pipes for the xvs 125, i seached for the best price and the best i can find is 205 quid. considering yamaha charge 450 for their replacement that pretty good. anyway best price i could get them for is at this link, they may do other custom stuff too. give em a ring. i want to get these pipes too but cant afford it yet. so if you get them, let me know if they any good. they are supposed to be much nicer sounding vrum vrum...louder. and they are suposed to increase the horse power by 2 or 3.... http://www.mayors-motorcycles.co.uk/index.asp
  9. hi i know this topic was started a while ago, but i had to add something. i bought the xvs 125 in may 2007. first time i'd ever sat on a motorbike was the day i picked it up and did my CBT. i am 19 stone and 6ft2, and i live near swansaea south wales. so as you can imagine, theres lots of mountains around. so my baby works hard. but it works well. i rode it to the bulldog bash in stratford (and got congratulated by the hells angels for my good effort..) last summer and had no problems. i have a 33 leg-long... and although i am soon to do my test and change for a bigger model it has served its purpose very well. you will enevatablly reach the point that you will want a little more power and then its time for the direct access. but my reason for this is cos of all these mountains around here. if you mostly gonna ride on the flat or motorways, then you'll be happy for a good while...
  10. hi, i dont know anything about exhausts either, but http://www.mayors-motorcycles.co.uk/index.asp these guys do a range of highway hawk fat pipes. give them a ring coz the ones they do for my little xvs 125 are suposed to make it sound much better and also supposed to increase the bhp by 2 or 3. give em a try im sure they'll help
