  1. thanks people! Drewpy you seem familiar! the only names i can remember is yours, mozzy, merv, alexasigno and pete?? I got the bike with the paint job done to be honest, its a nice job, bike is totally unmarked as well for a 99, you could eat your dinner off the rear shock! Flip tone pain is my favourite my hornet is 4 tone. So i couldnt go back to normal paint again...sad i know!
  2. Bonkers, camera footage in slow mo is amazing!
  3. Hello! After a few years of not owning a yamaha im back! With this. Last time i was active on this forum i was 16 with a tzr 50. Then i went to a Honda. Now im with this.... Look forward to joining in again Tom
  4. there fast for a go kart!! my mate has two, another one has one, and another mate has one. all 1.3 turbos. nice cars to be honest, lots of potential if you wanna splash my mate will have spent the best part of 15k on his when its finished. but i rekon my hornet 600 will still rip it! and ill look good while im doing it, and be having more fun, and its cheaper. to conclude bikes are better. if that fails then buy a celica 2.0l mine beats them all ha! but the biek is better than that!!
  5. i sell them, there great. they actually have a higher wear resistance than leather. hell it stops bullets!!! note, jeans do not make you bullet proof, but they will save your ass and knees!! if you want some give Rivetts a shout, im at the letchworth shop in hertfordshire, 01462684124 ask for tom, im in monday and wednesdays 2-6 and all weekend sat 9-6 and sun 10-4! if not my shop we have shops in northampton, hull, chiswick and leytonstone.

    Leathers

i have a Rev'it 2 peice leather suit. sidi vertigo boots and a kbc vr2 helmet, and a pair of frank thomas aqua blade gloves for the chilly times and a pair of rst sports one for the warmer days. also have a frank thomas jacket for chilly days but i dont wear it much anymore, prefer my leather jacket too much!! o and i work for rivetts, which is the uk's number 1 frank thomas dealer. we also sell sidi boots. its all good only reason i have other stuff is cos i purchased it before i started working there.
  8. oooo jealous then so is 15 year olds on 125 moto gp bikes??? in my opinion we youngsters are restricted by the cost of insurance, and having the fucking thing restricted itself!! i wanted an r6, but financially and usably not ecconomical, so i went for a hornet instead. anyway, at the end of the day people are gonna hurt themselves be it on a scooter or a blade or whatever, age only comes into it when you attempt to point the finger. and if you restrict us youngsters we'll only find a way of making what we have go faster still. there are many contributing factors. like cars, insurance is rediculously expensive, so at 18 i have a 1.5 civic, comes under the 1.6 *big engine class* but with some tampering it goes like shit. some of this may sound immature, and frankly some of it probably is. but in my view the world is getting harder for us bikers with all the other silly tossers around without us turning on each other....
  9. if your getting a lot from your bike then you will notice the difference yes. fueling and throttle movement will be more precise, linear and positive. basically you will notice it always recommended with an exhaust and filter for best results
  10. i recommend either dunlop 208rr's mental front wheel grip is fantastic feel is awesome, good in wet too, suprisingly. or michelin pilot sports, on my second pair after having a gap and getting some bto20's there not my cup of tea, again like the dunners michelins r fantastic
  11. all the best drivers pass second time
  12. its fuckin brilliant!!! end of, i use it, i sell it, wonda-baaarr!!

  18. good enough cheers guys, no wi know that is abotu right, and its my driving that sorts me out. nice one. im off to rip some more to shreds then!!!! btw i always dispose of them environmentally
  19. with the ladies it has to be a bit or redline action for em, but the key is to look at them, even if they cant see you behind your tinted visor point your helmet at them and they know. its all about the looking. i find revving it up, drag racing at lights with amin i wheelie thrown in for laughs. but my favourite cane it down the road in 1st roll off the throttle a little and listen to your exhaust burble and spit some flames, god bless carbs and my scorpion can.
  20. ive got a streetfighter 99 honda hornet with 4 tone paint and more shiny pieces of metal than all of your guitarts put together MIck-Nev beat that. beleive i just have, best get your arse out then havent you. o and my amp is a scorpian race can spank any regulars got eddyirish's phone number?
  21. let it heat up, it will smoke less out teh pipes as well, my adive for winter riding dont spank it in low gears, im rapidly chewing a rear tyre due to it sliding all over the place like a greasy hooker!! but then again, ride it like ya stole it!
  22. with trousers buy the ones that fit liek apair of jeans if you know what i mean, jackets however you buy snug then after a while they will ease up, as for 1-piece suits snug is the word because they really do break in, thats when you get a saggy arse in em because the people who buy them snug once they have they fit like a pair of your favourite shoes. i only know, cos i work in a bike shop. so clothing advice i can do
  23. right im sick of this now. those of you who have read my posts before may have noticed i always post up stuff abotu tyres and when i get a new set. well heres another bitch... im on my 3rd rear in a year, had a dunlop 208rr set, great! michelin pilot sport front excellent, rear bag of shit, pissed through it in 3000 miles, this is getting expensive bridgestone bt020 rear got it in feb, got a fucking puncture! and the michelin front needs replacing so going for bridgestone pair. with softer compound on the front, also my bike has a 16 inch front wheel because honda like ot be difficult (although thats what teh gp bikes use haha ) but seriously i hate tyres, they dont last long, there expensive and they get holes in. im sick of it now. and my car isn't much better at it either!! i will post back when i sort this but this is the one thing that really does annoy me about bikes and cars is tyres!! if you hadnt noticed!
