    Another Newbie

Would like to go there now Ive had a look at the website! Devils Bridge in Wales or the bike meet every Sunday in Kendall? I wanna go to the one in Wales. Me and the missus are going to Windermere on 1st May to the lakes on the bike... so we will go that Sunday to the bike meet. Im glad you made me search Devils Bridge now, sounds a good laugh!!! woooo
  2. LOL, look in the gallery you lazy sod http://www.yamahaclub.com/forums/index.php...amp;#entry52219
  3. Well... now then, I feel like a bit of a tool..... Only realising what the four corners are in the US..
  4. Nah, theres one on the Isle of Man though.... not as impressive as yours though I imagine
  5. Aye, you get them.... last TT was my dodgy experience... a bike flew past me at 80 in a 30 whislt I saw him coming and moved, he made no effort to go wide and clipped my elbow padding..... bang out of order... during the TT fortnight you need to check both sides head checks all the time even if yu are banging out 100 on a straight, you'll be surprised what you find traveling at the same speed on either side All good fun though!
  6. I think Mansell left some years ago.... Jeremy Clarkson lives here though....causing trouble with local walkers in a true JC nature! Life here is slow and very safe... with the exception to the no speed limits.
  7. Totally they need the experience. If not the experience to handle the power, more to develop the correct attitude. I have been riding bikes since I was 7yrs old, rode a 125cc from the age of 16 until 25 I am now 28 and have progressed from a 125 > 750 > 1000. Now, I know if I had passed my test when I was 18/19 or even 21... I would have killed myself riding a 600. I only really gained sense until I was 24 and realised I dont actually have anything to prove... and rode sensibly ever since. OK I have the adrenalin fueled burn up the mountain and rear wheel sliding around roads I know. But I stick strictly to speed limits and am basically not a d-head anymore. It does come with age I think. On the island here it is a 50mph restriction for one year after they pass their test.... which means when the coppers are not looking they WILL hit over 100 with a 150BHP bike if they so wish.
  8. I have plans for my Ace.... Raise the rear, Tail Guard, maybe CARBON and YELLOW colourscheme...
  9. Riding along, and decide to use a little engine brake I hear a rattle (tone similar to keys jangling or plastics tapping). It sounds external but Im not quite sure... I will have to go to the airfield next week so I can ride without a helmet to get a proper listen. She runs fine, starts first time, handles fine. Any ideas? Thunderace YZF1000R 1997 (Ive read the other thread)
  10. Hi My name is Kriston, and im from the Isle of Man (to be said in true FAST SHOW fashion) Recently purchased a Thunderace 97. I never thought I would go for one, but she looked nice and gave me a kick to the nads with the relentless power I also own a KTM 350 woooo!!
