Hi everyone, I'm new here ... stumbled across this site whilst looking for a seat cowl for my 2005 FZ6N, so thought I'd join up to see if I can get any assistance with where to find one I reside in Brisbane, Australia with my husband and children. As stated above, I ride a 2005 FZ6N which I've had for a couple of years. Before that I rode a Honda CBR250 and before that I had a Yamaha Virago. i am about to buy an 88 E reg RXS-100 off my mates brother in law, but he is out the country at the moment. the bike is fine but we are unsure of the fuel type he was using for it, if it was unleaded or 4 star. does any one know if this year bike will run on unleaded or will need the lead additive used as we are struggling to find out from him at the moment any help very gratefull, cheers

Hi Guys , new to the board but from what I've seen so far I'm sure it will come in very handy over the next few months. Anyway, wondering if you guys might be able to help me, well the xs650 guys anyway. Can anyone tell me if the xs650 special/ custom shared the same frame/chassis with the roadster type bikes or indeed can anyone tell me what differences there were between the custom models and the roadster type bikes ? for example was it the same chassis just longer forks and bigger wheels. Just wondering if anyone knows if a TDM850 engine will fit into a 96 TRX frame? Are they compatible?

I have taken the bike to Yamaha and they have mapped it properly. Have tried richining up the map on the low of the commander with no diff. If I crank it over and hit the kill swith and then restart it goes right away. Any suggestions or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Stumped in Kelowna .

When i turn off my 2002 r6 sometimes the side lights stay on! Why is this!?!?

Just wondering how people have been doing on fuel mileage on the 1300 V-Star's??? My light comes on at about 125 to 130 miles. How have others done and has anyone ever run out of fuel after light came on??? Thanks for all your time.

right i have a yamaha DT125R it has done 3,000 miles and my ECU/CDI system has been stolen is there anyway or by passing this or doing something to make the bike run without it please help anyhting please?

HI ALL GOT A DT125R WAS RUNNING FINE WHEN PUT AWAY 18 MONTHS AGO WOULD NOT START HAVE GOT SPARK AIR FILTER CLEAN HAVE STRIPPED AND CLEANED CARB WILL RUN NOW WITH CHOKE ON NOT WITH CHOKE OFF IT WILL STAY RUNNING IF I SHAKE THE BIKE IF NOT IT DIES ALSO DRAINED TANK CLEANED IT NEW FUEL ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANKS ALL

Hi, my name is Ben and I just picked up a 1987 Yamaha Radian last week. It has 25k miles on it. This is my first bike and pretty new into the whole world of two wheels. It seems to run pretty well, but the owner told me that she was getting about 30mpg. That seems pretty low to me. i thought these should get mid 40's easy. am i wrong? I take it changing the plugs and wires, along with a new air filter would help a lot, but would it make that much of a difference? while poking around i found the air filter and looked oily & pretty dirty. these aren't oiled filters are they? i would guess the filter is a big part of it. and another thing i noticed was that the little ru…
