Hey all, I am new to the website, as well as the motorbike scene. Got myself an 2002 R6, I cam off it just before christmas, thankfully I was only, few bruises but nothing major - the bike however needed new headlight unit, front cowling, r/h mid fairing. Manage to get some very cheap & excellent condition eadlights & front cowling the the mid fairing I am stuggling with. Have been weighing up my option, which are as follows: Option 1 - Live with the tatty fairing I have on there at the minute, even tho the rest of the bike is A1 condition. Option 2 - Buy a brand new one from Yamaha, cost me £279.95 + VAT. That will mean it will be perfect again …

hello! i just bought a 90 FZR 1000 as a project bike, got it for $500 found you guys on so i figured id have to join! about a month ago i joined EXUP Brotherhood (http://exupbrotherhood1.com/phpbb2/index.php) and i can honestly say they are the best online forum style group ive ever seen!!! they have been VERY helpful, but they dont have much exposure. I have a 96 xj600s and it's startin to be a pain to go down gear yet the gearbox seems fine can any1 help me and tell me what it could be????

Hi, my names nik and I've recently bought myself a Yamaha xj600s divvy for my first bike. I know its probably not as fancy as some of the other riders on here but I'm happy with it so far so good *touch wood*. I was high bidder on a 1974 RD 350, when the seller contacted me for payment, he said his yamaha guru told him it wasn't a 350 but 250. I'm green to Rd models how can I tell before I drive to pick it up. He seems to think It's a 250 with 350 body work The Vin or Frame # is 352210519 I need help fast.

Just saying hey. New to the forum and biking. Me and my buddy ( he's around on here somewhere) just got ourselves XVS 125 DragStars. Planning on doing the Full test later in the year and moving up to bigger bikes, but for now we're happy with what we've got and having some fun.

I have a 2002 xvs 125 dragstar which i am having trouble 'finding' neutral. I can select every other gear easily, but when i come to a standstill i cannot find neutral easily. Also even when the clutch lever is pulled right in the bike tends to 'jump' forward when putting it into gear. I have checked all the adjustments on the clutch but everything seem ok. any ideas as the toe of my boot is wearing out due to the constant gear lever movement up and down trying to get it out of gear

hi every one am new here,have myself a r6 03-5eb model my pride and joy,had it about 1 year now and have been addin bits and bobs to it,recently been tryin to get a rear wavet disc for about £50,nightmare. ebay rubbish.can anyone help.thanx

i am having trouble wiv my dt i am losing power wen it hits 7000 rpm it splutters and chokes and loses power nebody got ne ideas can u help thanks alot

Hi there I am new to this forum and bikes in general. I bought a Yamaha YBR 125 last year which worked fine when I first got it. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances towards the end of last year I had to leave the bike locked up in the garage for about six months. I have kept the battery charged and the bike in good condition but when I tried to start it up to get out on the road again it just won't start. Either with the starter button or kick start.. Any idea's or pointers would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Hi All, was searching for info on my latest ride, 87 FZR 1000RR, (Re-Named "The BEAST") and came across this site, So here I am, Have not had such a Ride, (or SCARE) since I first got on a bike, It goes like a Rocket Sled on Rails ... Have not been on a bike for a while, but i went down to Sydney and road back to Townsville on it.. 2065 k's of PURE PLEASURE, although it took me a couple of hundred k's to get used to it ..(Read: TAME the Bloody thing Will probably harrass some of you if I need help sorting anything out.
