I had my WR fully rewired a while ago and was told by the guy that because it's DC or AC or whatever he couldn't add indicators. Still charged me an obscene amount for the job, granted he did a tidy job and I've never had issues with it since. Was just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how I'd go about doing this as I've seen some WR's out there with indicators on them. I've got the indicator switch on the handlebar already. many thanks John

  12. Hi all, As you can see from my bike, I'm new(ish) to bikes having bought myself a TDR125 to get through my test. Actually, I grew up around bikes and always wanted one, but had to wait until my old man passed away to get my first bike. Although he had bikes from the age of 12 until he was in his 50's, I wasn't allowed near them! Anyway...my TDR is a German import. It's a great little bike, but it will need some tlc over the year. I am really shocked at how little information there is about bikes on the net. I emailed Yamaha and got a polite reply saying they knew there was "more to be done." I don't even know what model my bike is. So far, any replacement part…

I was tinkering with my bike today (for the first time ever), and I managed to fix a problem (air filter and box getting filled with oil when the engine is hot, then dumping it all over the road when I stop). I went out for a 60mile round trip, and ... no leak, no smoke..........BLISS That feeling of having managed to fix a problem on your own (with the help of the YOG forum) was f***ing amazing! Considering I'm a complete newbie when it comes to bike mechanics, I was chuffed, almost as much as passing my test with only 1 minor after being certain I'd failed it at the first roundabout! Anyone got other bike-related moments of bliss?
